The Gun Laws:

Gun Proof Kids Not Child Proof Guns

Marcus J Paulus

According to Begala (2013):

People who own weapons should know their terrible, lethal power far better than non-gun owners. Once you pull a trigger in a vacant field and see a beer can instantly explode, you know there is no force on earth that can undo that destruction. Sure, shooting brings a rush--but it should also spur humility. At least in the gun culture I know, it does. (p. 7)

There has been a lot of talk about changing and tightening guns laws. On one side of the argument you have the citizens that want to be able to mount fully automatic guns on top of their trucks. Then on the other side of the argument there are the citizens think guns are murdering machines and only the military should have them and the only people that use them are crazed hillbillies running though the woods trying to kill innocent animals or people with mental problems sitting in the basement polishing their guns planning to go kill people and or Children in a mass shooting.

The gun laws need revising the a couple easy changes. The First and foremost isn't so much a gun law but a way to make people safer. You always hear that you need to keep guns away from children but I believe and I was raise that guns are a part of life so as a young age I was shooting guns but only after I was educated on how to use them. So an easy we can make to have safer would is focus more on educating children on the use of guns and how much damage they can do instead of teaching them that guns kill and guns are bad so that makes them curious. When kids are curious about guns they try to play with guns and when they play with guns bad things happen.

One of the changes is there ...

According to Begala (2013):

I want to prevent would-be killers from having access to weapons of war. I want to stop them from teaching themselves to kill through video games. I want mental-health services to be more easily obtained. And I want to deny murderers the notoriety they seek. Our leaders must attack the entire problem--and if they do, I believe my fellow gun owners will have their back.(P. 10)

I never really believed this quote until the kid was arrested in Waseca, MN and said he idolized one of the Columbine school shooters.Moscow school shooter brings an all-too-American tragedy to Russia (Weir, 2014). This all-too-American has to stop by educating our youth in the dangers of guns and not making school shooters almost like heroes with all the publicity they get.
