There may be many holidays around the world, but christmas is celebrated the most. Christmas is something special in family because it means everyone can unite together as a family. This christmas happens on the 25th of December and is celebrated each year. We get together to celebrate the birth of jesus christ. Mexican culture Christmas is a little different. Something that is done traditionally is eat food. Also many fun things are done like fireworks, pinata, and a wood fire. Furthermore christmas is celebrated on the 24th of december for us traditionally, and presents are opened at 12:00 AM.This things will be explained in the following paragraphs. To begin with, something traditional in mexican culture is that a lot of food is consumed at that time of the year. The most eaten food in our traditional christmas is tamales. For instance, many families make their own tamales. Sometimes tens of dozens of tamales are made each year on christmas. Another type of food that is eaten is Pozole. Pozole is delicious and very simple, so as well it can be homemade. Pozole is warm so it can be eaten outside in the cold. Another thing more of a beverage not a food, and its champurrado.Champurrado is a chocolate like drink that most families make. One of them is fireworks, this is more for the kids or teens. For example, when you go outside on christmas eve, all you can see is smoke from all the fireworks used. Kids and teens bring bags and bags of fireworks. Something else that is done in mexican culture christmas is hit the pinata. The pinata is a figure of something that is made from newspaper or anything paper. Then, is knocked down to get the candy that is inside for everyone to eat.
