After finishing up term one of my nursing career, I can officially say I feel nursing is most definitely the profession I have been searching for. I have had an amazing experiences and practice by going to clinical which helped me improve upon my nursing skills and EOP SLO. It can be seen, being prepared, maintain professionalism and safe practice, having exceptional communication, respecting culture, adapting care across the lifespan, promoting health education, and having an admirable nursing process were all valued and demonstrated by me.
Nursing is a very rewarding career. There are chances to make a difference in life very day. Besides that, job security is a featured benefit of the nursing career. Nurses will always be a necessary part of the healthcare system, and hospitals are unable to function without large workforce like nursing staff. The profession of nursing also allows the nurse to choose his/her own specialty. Nursing has a phenomenal wide range of choices that one can choose. Nurses can choose to work in any of the many nursing fields available, and can also choose to become certified in a specialty of choice. There are opportunities for leadership, and many times nurses find their way into management, sometimes leading as officers in large healthcare companies. Many also become nurse practitioners and nurse educators. All of these positions can be achieved through higher education in such Master of nursing and Doctor of Nursing
The idea of taking care of someone and providing assistance to a complete stranger is something not many people do. Seeing people at their worst, during a difficult, challenging and frightening moment of their life is not a job many people would take. However, being there for a person at their time of need is what captivates me the most. Nursing, a career I want to pursue and one that is on my to-do list. Being a nurse entails a lot of things; you must be strong, passionate, hardworking, and caring. Becoming a nurse is my ultimate career goal. In the long term a clear-cut decision would be to further continue my education and become an Nurse Anesthetist with a Master's degree.
Labor and Delviery Nursing is a great career to pursue. The career comes with alot of knowledge but with time and patience, anybody can persue it. Nursing is not just a career it’s a very board profession. In nursing there are many job opportunities. There are different types of nursing jobs that a person can do depending on the specialty that he/she feel comfortable with. Patients come to the hospital for help and they are trusting us to help them feel better and heal them. If any patient was asked about their experience at a hospital or a care center, many would mention the capability and care that they received from the nurses. I started my Nursing career in India and then I came to the United States and became an RN. I entered Nursing with the thinking that Nursing is a profession that will always allow me to have a job and all my patients will get better. However, from my experiences I understood that Nursing is more than just giving medications, and it requires clinical competence, cultural sensitivity, ethics, caring for others, and life-long learning about others and the evolving field of medicine. Nurses are the ones who will care for and help guide families though the toughest moments in their lives. To be a nurse is more than just a job. You must be able to care for the sick, communicate with the grieving patients and families. Only the strongest will join the ranks of the registered nurses. To be a nurse proves your dedication, work ethic and ability to show compassion and empathy. Nursing is a highly respected career choice. As the Marines say of their own ranks “only the few and the proud” will make it as a registered nurse. Registered nurses will go through lifelong learning on top of earing a minimum of an associate’s degree
I am doing my research over nursing. Because it is good and you can help people get better. I think nursing is good because there is a lot of people getting sick. There is a lot of diseases and sickness going around (flu, anemone, bacterial infection….). These sickness are not fun.
