20 Dollar Jackson During the course of america there were many different elected leaders during each of their respective terms, some were professional while others were controversial. Some presidents were so influential that we’ve made monuments, movies, and stories about them, we’ve even put them on our currency. Andrew Jackson is one of those leaders printed on the american 20 dollar currency item. Many people wonder why hes printed on the dollar to begin with, there was many documents talking on how great he was however probably an equal amount to how bad he was. Jackson had vetoed a bill that would help set up the bank much earlier, when that didn't work he made it his duty to reduce the power. The bank's president Nicholas Biddle made some loans and credit from the states, unfortunately by doing this he showed how influential he was in destabilizing the economy, further proving the bank was too risky, Andrew won the so called “bank war”. This just proves that Jackson would stop at nothing to stop an american economic threat, granted the bank wasn't destroyed but merely had its charter expire. These topics and many more are good, not great but good reasons for putting Andrew Jackson on the dollar bill, he's very controversial and memorable. Not only that but he's done most of his things for the good of the people, well what was good at the time, socially acceptable. These days most of the things he's done are considered bad or controversial but honestly everything in the past is a bit off. In conclusion I think Andrew Jackson should be on the 20 dollar bill, for the things he did for the people and the country back
