In my opinion, I believe that I am right on track of accomplishing my four year plan A through G requirements. In addition, I definitely believe that I have a plan for my next three years of high school. Furthermore, I am certain that I would graduate high school. Without a doubt, I am in the path of accomplish all my academic goals and extracurricular goals. Not to mention, my goal does not stop at graduating high school, but as well as meeting all the requirements to be accepted in UCs after high school. Moreover, I am in a career pathway. In addition, I have set out my plan for all four years in high school. According to my plan, I would not be taking any zero period for the next three years. Therefore, to make up all the credits I need or want, I will be taking Health as an online class next year. Moreover, to complete my F-course, I am planning to do ceramics in my junior since according to my plan, it is the only time that I can fit all the requirements in my schedule. Furthermore, I am on a decent pathway for my C and D courses. Currently, I am in an honor Math class and as well as an honor (STEAM) Biology. Without a doubt, I will be completing all four years of Math and Science classes. Not to mention, I have set my goal to do AP Calculus and AP Physic as my future classes. In other word, I am on the right path for completing these requirements. Overall, I believe that I am right on track for completing graduation, A-G and even UCs requirements. Honestly, I believe that I do not need all of these requirements to help me with my career pathway because I am determined and had everything planned out for my life and future. I know that I want to have a career in the medical field, so to prepare for that I have taken many high school science classes, including biology, chemistry 1 and 2, and physics. I’ve also taken many math classes, English 101 and 102 though Grand Rapids Community College and heath classes through Grand Valley State University. These classes have helped prepare me for a medical degree by exposing me to math, science, and college level classes; all of which are particularly important when it comes to trying to receive a medical degree.

My lifetime goal is helping others and I plan to use my career to fulfill it. The classes I’m taking right now and the ones I’m planning to take senior year are classes I believe will influence my decision in my college major/career as well as counting toward my GPA. This will help me get into schools who have medical programs that I’m considering. Also, taking AP classes can help me save money since I can earn college credit. I’m taking all AP classes, and the electives I’m taking have been classes that have helped me consider being in the medical field. I’ve found that over the years, science and math are what I’m doing better in versus history and english. I believe by being in the medical field, I can help others in the best way I can.

I started the long road to getting where I want to be by making sure I am taking the correct classes in high school. My school offers many classes that will help me in this career. I’m working on my second year of English and Mathematics. I’ve also taken Biology and a Technology class. Other than the skills that are taught to you in school, there are many special skills that can’t particularly be taught to you. These skills include observation, decision making, data-analysis, communication, and critical-thinking. There are only a few more classes that I need to take before I’m college ready. Durant High School’s requirements for graduation cover all the classes that I will have needed to take to get into this career. I am currently looking into, and applying to, multiple colleges. The University of Denver and Oklahoma State University are a couple of colleges that have certificates for agricultural engineering. Once I go to college, I will need to achieve a Bachelor’s degree. I’m not positive if I will need a higher certificate, because I want to work with medicine, yet.
After graduation, I took a hiatus from education to re-evaluate my goals and interests. Although I thoroughly evaluated my competence and desire to attend medical school, I thought it necessary to take another year to do so; given the importance of such a decision. During which, I continued to explore my enthusiasm for medicine through shadowing and clinical volunteering opportunities. In the process, reinforcing my already present inclinations to become a physician. Furthermore, I rigorously studied for the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) as it is a critical part in the admissions process.
My goals in college are to get involved with student government, play lacrosse graduate in the top of my class all my life of being in school I was always active not just a regular student. Whether it was SGA or sports or volunteer work I was a part of it; all years of school levels I have graduated with honors and I do not want to see anything different now while I am in college. As we all know college is not a walk in the park and I am well aware of that. I have to really be on my game to accomplish my goal of graduating with honors. I am already on the way of my goal, I have already completed 3 business courses and am now on the process of taking one now. I have taken business law, introduction of business, and industrial business; I did not take them at Towson however they still transferred over as business courses.

Some say “I’ve always known that Medicine was the career for me.” While others tout “I was often sick as a child” thus “the hospital was an integral part of my life” while others use the typical “Dr. _______ changed my life and I always wanted to be just like him/ her”. While some these things ring true of my own life experience, there were numerous, sometimes unrelated factors, that have influenced my decision and fueled my desire to pursue Medicine. However, I am particularly drawn to Internal Medicine because of its complex problem solving opportunities, emphasis on team centered care, and the never-ending learning opportunities it affords.
Enrolling in University of California, Los Angeles to study music history is a possible career choice of mines. To attain this goal, I intend to enroll in performing art classes throughout high school such as show choir, drama, dance, etc, as well as study and understand music and performing arts. To fulfill my other post secondary option is pursuing a career in nursing and attending Pima Medical Institute, I intend to take a class on medical terminology in high school. I also plan on asking my brother who is a nurse in the military for any aid and information he can provide me with. I intend to study immensely for the SAT’s or ACT’s and pass with high score so I can obtain my goal in enrolling in UCLA or attending PMI.
In the future, I wish to obtain an occupation in the medical field. I would like to start out by working for a Biology major and working in a premedical field in college where I can use my interest in medicine and my curiosity for knowledge to gain insight that would be needed to become a helpful doctor in the medical field. As I move along in my career, I would like to work my way through the pathway so that I can expand my skills in healing others, such as diagnostic abilities, effectively giving treatment and so on. My father, who is my role model, taught me two important aspects in the field of medicine: To reduce suffering & do no harm to patients. With this strong foundation, as my basis and support, entrance into a rural medical school was out of fascination for the intricate human architecture and its functioning.
