Dangerous predators have appeared on the face of this planet since the first organism developed. Predation is of utmost importance for the ecological system to maintain its balance. Predators use their unique skills for hunting. If we compile a list of the most deadly predators humans would certainly top the list. They have overpowered and hunted the most vicious and largest animals. Humans have even brought many species on the brink of their extinction.
Here is a list of the 10 most dangerous predators in the world:
1. Mosquito
A mosquito may seem to a mere common insect but it is one of the deadliest. Generally female of this species feed on animal or human blood. This helps the female mosquito to acquire proteins essential for the eggs. When the mosquito bites us they are likely to transmit fatal diseases to us such as yellow fever, dengue, malaria, etc.
The best way to protect from these life threatening diseases is to use mosquito repellents, window screens, and avoiding skin exposure in mosquito infected area.
Deaths per year: 2 million deaths are caused by mosquitoes per year
Location: They are found everywhere
Predators: The natural predators of mosquitoes are dragonfly nymph, mosquito fish, piranha, salmon, trout, etc.
2. Black Mamba
Black Mamba’s name itself is enough to instil fear in the heart of people. Mamba is one of the most poisonous snakes in the world. Even 10 mg of Black Mamba’s venom is enough to stop the heart of any man. It is not just the venom that makes it dangerous but also its aggressive nature. When it attacks it strikes again and again inserting almost 100mg of venom in its prey or attacker. The venom contains potent neurotoxins which can result in death with half an hour or in a few...

...poison affects the heart, nervous system and the skin. Sometimes victims don’t even manage to reach the shore in time. If you try to disengage yourself from the tentacles it only worsens the attack. The wise thing to do is to avoid box jelly fish locations.
Deaths per year: Box jellyfish are accounted for 20-40 deaths per annum.
Locations: These species are found in tropical waters of Indo-Pacific and sub-tropical oceans of Atlantic and east Pacific.
Predators: Sea turtles, butterfish, batfish and crabs are among some of the predators of box jelly fish.
You may have noticed that most of these dangerous predators attack humans only when provoked. These attacks have been on the rise due to the encroachment of humans on their habitat. These animals are only using their natural defence mechanism. So let’s do all we can to give them their space. Live and let live!
In the article “When Mosquitoes Were Killers in America” by Lauren Tarshis, She makes the statement “Yet mosquitoes are far more than a nuisance.” What she means is that mosquitoes aren't a little bug that just sucks a little blood and can be annoying, but instead it uses all that and more. Mosquitoes have killed millions upon millions of people by spreading disease like malaria. An example of how she supports this claim is in the article, she says “ In this way, bite by itchy bite, 212 million people are infected with malaria every year” (Tarshis 13). And that is only a year with bug spray, shots, and all the other things that help stop mosquitoes. So when the U.S. government tried to save people from these murders little insects. So they
A defining feature of the lionfish which everyone sees are the “18 venomous spines on its dorsal fin and its pelvic and anal fins, which are used for defense” as described in FACE OFF WITH THE ENEMY: LIONFISH by Special To The Citizen. Which is a neurotoxin that results in intense pain and swelling of one’s body. Fernando Simal, a marine hunter at STINAPA National Marine Park, found out the potency of their venom after his first hunt when being stung by the lionfish he caug...
Predators are biologically different and can be very dangerous compared to the common criminal. Predators have minimal or absent autonomic arousal, no conscious emotion, no imminent perceived threat, no displacement of target, and no time limited sequence. Predatory violence is planned and purposeful with variable goals, primarily cognitive, and predators have heightened and focused awareness. Predatory violence is different from other forms of violence because it is not defensive nor an appropriate or normal response.
Living in the world that consists of three thousand different types of mosquitoes is frightening. People got used to a daily routine of waking up and getting to their jobs, that many of them are so focused on their career and family that they do not even notice and pay much attention when they are getting bitten by mosquitoes. Unfortunately not many people were aware of the fact that not all insects are safe, many of mosquitoes transfer infections, but we were not concentrating on that since it was considered not a common issue. As a repercussion, people did not begin to react and notice that something wrong with them when Aedes mosquitoes began their attempt on ruining people’s social, physical and psychological lives by transferring a Zika virus to the once who are bitten.
There is a squid-like monster seen off the coasts of Norway that is a mile and a half in circumference named a Kraken. Legend says these creatures have the ability to squirt their blinding venom into the victim’s eye to cripple them. (...

The sole purpose of Wildlife Services predator control is to prevent commercial livestock losses from predation by wolves, coyotes, mountain lions, and other wild carnivores (NRDC, 2011). They work with state and local governments and use a combination of lethal control methods like trapping, poisoning, and gunning. There are many different types of trapping, poisoning, and gunning.
Every moment that time passes, a mosquito sucks fresh scarlet blood cells beyond the delicate, hydrated, smooth skin, creating an itchy, crimson, round-like bump that irritates whoever is bitten. There is a vast number of different mosquitoes with distinctive characteristics, and although they are seen as a common threat, some tend to have more extreme side effects than others. For example, the Culex Pipiens, also known as the Northern House Mosquito, is one of the causes of various diseases, such as Japanese encephalitis, meningitis, and urticaria, compared to the Mosquito hawks, also known as the “Daddy-Long-Legs,” that do not bother people nor eat other mosquitoes. Sadly, during the year of 2013, the virus made itself established, but it

A person can prevent the disease. And, there are many ways to do this. One is to put on insect repellent with Deet. Another is to wear long sleeves and long pants. Also, tuck your pants in socks. And, wear a hat. Finally, stay away from wooded areas.
The Palumbis’ article emphasizes how there are many more dangerous creatures in the ocean besides sharks. Even though people are crazy about Shark Week, they should be interested in finding out the different species that live within the water. Everyone is obsessed about sharks for the fact they think they are the most dangerous fish in the water, but there are scarier animals that swim below. As a result of the national concern about sharks, people get excited when Discovery Channel videotapes the annual show Shark Week. As Palumbi tries to prove their point that sharks are not the most dangerous animal in the water with using logos and ethos but they should have more pathos.
If they are infected, an incubation period of 3-6 days follows in which no symptoms are present (“Yellow Fever” Gale Encyclopedia). This period of time can sometimes be most dangerous since the infected individual may continue to work and interact normally with others. Therefore, if they continue to work outdoors, mosquitos may transmit their blood—and the Yellow Fever disease—to others. This shows how in campsites or close working quarters, groups of working men can quickly circulate the disease. In a matter of days, Yellow Fever can spread through a population. This period of incubation is followed by an abrupt onset of symptoms including, fever (for which the disease is named), chills, intense headaches, white coating of the red and swollen tongue, and Faget’s sign (slowed heart-rate coupled with high fever) (“Yellow Fever” Center for Disease Control). After the invasion period, the patient may appear to recover as symptoms dissipate and fever decreases for hours or even days. For some the disease is over, but for others a more severe stage will soon
Cnidarians are found in the Mediterranean and in the oceans. They can live in the ocean as well as coastal waters. But the primary habitat for Cnidarians are in the open ocean. Jellyfish can live in any oceans. There are deep water and shallow water jellyfish. Certain jellyfish, such as the Pelagia Noctiluca, can live anywhere that the ocean currents decide to carry it ("Phyla Cnidaria, Platyhelminthes, and Nematoda").
They are creatures that have no clue what we are and are afraid of us. Every year, thousands of more people are killed by other people than by sharks; thousand more people are killed in car accidents than by sharks, and more people are killed by lightning strikes than by sharks. Each year humans kill tens of thousands of sharks, yet, there are fewer than 100 shark attacks upon humans. For example, The Great White shark also known as the man-eater, has the greatest reputation for attacking humans. Recent studies of Great Whites show that they mainly feed on sea-mammals. Seen from below the surface a person swimming with a shark looks much like a seal, with arms and legs sticking out. The shark usually surprises its victim, being a person or seal, by one massive bite, and then retreats in order to allow the victim to die before digesting the food. For this reason, many humans survived the attack of a Great White shark if they are saved before being eaten. Not only getting out of the water and be safe, but the result of loss, blood or
People wonder why they freak out and attack when they are meant to be in their habitat where they can run free and live their own life instead of being circus animals. Al-Khatib: Let’s not forget about circuses. Animals would never run away from the circus; in fact, they would most likely run away from the circus if they could. Unlike human performers who choose to be clowns or trapeze artists, elephants, bears, and tigers never volunteered to stand on balls or jump through burning hoops. Trainers routinely beat and whip animals in order to make them perform tricks over and over again that make no sense to them at all.
