Computers and I have never gotten along. However, I am not the only one. Many people have trouble with computers and I am among those unfortunate souls. Like many others, when something goes wrong, I panic. Therefore, I created a mnemonic device to help, which is “Bounteous Sacrifices Bore Particular Rulers” which stands for the five steps on how to handle computer malfunctions for non-technically savvy people. The steps are breathe, stroke, baby-talk, plead, and restart. Each step has an important part to play in dealing with a computer issue. Breathe is to help calm down. Stroke, baby-talk, and plead use humor to calm a tense situation. Restart is the final and simplest step; you need to restart your computer in order to get it working again. Especially with computers, when a person is frustrated, everything becomes significantly more difficult, so you need take a deep breath and try to calm down. That is why breathe is the first part of “Bounteous Sacrifices Bore Particular Rulers.” Bounteous is an unusual word to start a mnemonic device but it was chosen because when putting to...

My mom has a computer and her computer never turns on so she checks if her cords are plugged in properly and it turns on.
It then discarded anything or anyone who were useless to it's purpose including the elderly and the sick. One of the major arguments that the author uses to emphasize the theme is the significant malfunctioning of the computer. It was designed to be flawless and solve the numerous problems of the city.

Excerpt: "When we’re first betrayed by someone we relied on to love and protect us, we may be frightened by our own rage. Years or even decades later, we may be frightened of letting go of that anger. We may resist moving forward because we are not yet ready to detach from our suffering." - Harriet Lerner, Ph.D., Psychology Today
Boethius's idea of a simultaneous God that could remain omnipresent without propagating or condoning evil became a cornerstone in Christian theology during the medieval ages. The Consolation soothes the reader not because it provides a theological proof, but because it reveals that injustice will never be rewarded by the truly virtuous God. In the Consolation of Philosophy, reason represented by Lady Philosophy comforts the imprisoned Boethius that in a world created by an eternal, emanating God, bad can never overcome virtue and goodness.
“I am Joe's Blood-Boiling Rage “ (96). Anger is one of the seven deadly sins which is defined by Christopher Marlowe in Doctor Faustus as, “I am Wrath. I had neither father nor mother. I leapt out of a lion’s mouth when I was scarce an hour old, and ever since have run up and down the world with this case of rapiers, wounding myself when I could get none to fight withal. I was born in hell, and look to it, for some of you shall be my father” (Doctor Faustus 2. 1).
Computers; they are a part of or in millions of homes; they are an intricate part of just about every if not all successful businesses, the government, and the military. Computers have become common place in today’s society and the lives of the people who live in it. They have crossed every national, racial, cultural, educational, and financial barrier, which consequently ushered in the information age. A computer is a programmable electronic device that can store, retrieve and process data, and they come in all shapes, and sizes. They can be used for and in just about anything. As stated before, they are used in just about every aspect of modern society. They are so fundamental to modern society that it would be disastrous to society without them. As stated before, there are many areas in modern society that are run by computers. They play an intricate part of millions of homes in the world. Office workers in business, government and the military may use them to write letters, keep rosters, create budgets, find information, manage projects, communicate with workers, and so on. They are used in education, medicine, music, law enforcement, and unfortunately crime. Because computers have become such a part of the world and how it operates, there is a tremendous responsibility for those who are in control of these computers and the vital information that they carry, to manage and protect them properly. This is management and protection is vital because any loss or damage could be disastrous for the affected entity. For example, a mistake or intentional alteration of a personal credit file could affect ones ability to buy a car or home, or can lead to legal actions against the affected person until the mistake or intentional alteration has been corrected. Therefore, with the advent of computers in the information age, and all of the intentional and unintentional violations against them, comes the need to safeguard them and the information they carry with strong systems and policies of computer security.
Every single person goes through life experiencing the same obstacles. Learning how to ride a bike or maybe losing a tooth but throughout the ups and downs, people gain an insight; an observation that can be told. Whether it’s from themselves or to the world. This vulnerability can draw people in but sometimes it can also draw them out. Emotions are one of those obstacles. Young children lack the understanding and complexity of the world around them. To simply put it, parents are lacking the proper techniques and skills needed to teach their children how to control their emotions. Children lash out not because their angry or mad but because parents failed to teach them skills to properly express their emotions. Anger and brutality in young children can be stopped but it takes understanding, knowledge, and control.
Anger Management Education, founded in 1994, provided education and psychotherapy to individuals to help make sense of and manage anger in their everyday lives (Anger Management 1). Anger remains a healthy emotion when expressed appropriately, although devastating effects may still exist. Anger lies at the root of many personal and social problems, such as child abuse, domestic and community violence, physical and verbal abuse. Anger also affects our physical health, by contributing to headaches, migraines, severe gastrointestinal symptoms, hypertension, and coronary artery disease. Many of us do not have the knowledge or abilities required to express our anger as a healthy emotion. As a result, some of us store and suppress our anger, while others may express it, but in negative and unhealthy ways.
Temper is a volatile emotion and can be good or bad. Everyone loses their cool at one time or another, but how important is it to keep your cool? What actions are appropriate when you lose your temper? What causes you to lose your cool? What can you do to keep from losing your temper? As long as you can keep control, it motivates you to speak out for a much needed change and if you stay in touch with the right perspective then it is okay, but once you lose objectivity and rationality then you are likely to do something that can hurt yourself and/or others.
Anger is an immediate reaction to an obstacle. It is a strong negative emotion of displeasure, hostility or fury that might occur to anyone on any occasion. Anger generates other bad feelings such as fear, disgust, shame, irritability, outrage, hostility and even violence and the aggressive response it generates can harm you. Anger is a punishment to you for somebody's fault.
My computer really needed to have serious counseling sessions. When I was at home alone, I disciplined my computer. "Hey! You computer listen. I do not think you know who you are. I am the one who tells you what to do. I am a commander, and y ou are my servant. If I tell you to draw a picture, you need to draw me a picture. Do you understand? How dare you to show me stop sign! Please do not tell me what to do. Who is the commander here? You just follow what I tell you to do."
