The End User
The Company is called Vesco and has 13 stores round the UK. The
manager from one of their London stores has asked me to do the
following for his supermarket only.
The Problem
A company called food on the go are their home delivery company. The
manager of Vesco has asked me to make invoices for the “food on the
go” company and their customers. The manager of Vesco called Dean
Smith said that their old way of billing people was very slow. What
they did was they would send an employee around the supermarket to get
each item that has been ordered and would have to add up the prices at
the end. He wants me to make it so that when his employees are doing
this all they have to do is type in the serial numbers of the items
and the computer will add up the prices and add VAT on its own. Also
he would like the individual items and the subtotal to come up on the
computer.
So when the delivery company is delivering the foods to the houses,
people will easily and quickly be able to pay because they will easily
see what they ordered. Some people may pay by cash or some may have
previously paid by credit card on their internet website. People order
their food by filling out and order form saying what items they would
like or they would fill out a form on the internet. An additional 10%
charge will be added to their bill for this service.
Possible Solutions to the Problem
Manual Solution
As they get their orders in they could write what is ordered onto a
piece of paper and put them up on a notice board, and at the end of
the week one person could go round the shop and get all the items from
every list.
ICT Solution
They could enter the items in a spreadsheet, this would be good
because a spreadsheet could add up the subtotal and add the VAT. After
adding the VAT it can automatically add up the final total.
My Solution Is…..
I will use the spreadsheet solution as the data incorporated in the
spreadsheet can be put into a formula and therefore can be manipulatededhat
time - consuming. ta i - consuming have fast access times. I suggest
that they use a CD-RW. by the computer, it can also be presented in a
good professional fashion.
I will use an ICT solution because of the following reasons:

For this project, the certified athletic trainer who I have shadowed for almost eight hours in just one day is Candace O'Bryan, currently the athletic trainer at Archbishop Hoban High School in Akron. Candace has worked at Hoban now entering her third year at the high school. She works alone as a trainer there but works along side one team doctor who is at every game, and the other one being a neurosurgeon but is just a parent helping out.

To build a house, we need a strong base. With a strong base, we would be able to have a better foundation for the house, so it depended on us to choose what kind of base we want to use to build our house. Just like a house, an identity for an individual, is about making a decision, and that decision will shape their identity. A couple years ago, it never crossed in my mind, that one day I would live someplace away from home, family, and friends. The authors’ purpose is to inform the readers of what goes on in the news media. This can be inferred by the authors’ tone. The authors’ overall tone is critical of the topics that are covered. The tone can be determined by the authors’ strong use of transitions, specific examples, and phrases or words that indicate analysis. Athletic Training plays a big role in the world today. Many people are on the go whether it is for sports or every day activities. Athletic Trainers can help with athletes of any age or industrial workers performing physical tasks or even an average citizen in recreational athletics. They help prevent injuries and help recognize injuries and treat them. They also help rehabilitate injuries that result from physical activity (Athletic Training Association). In the recent years, there has been an increase with the diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders (ASD). According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (2007), 1 in 150 children are said to be autistic and according to many states ASD is seen as an epidemic. The problem with these numbers is how to teach these children affectively in the best academic environment. In 2005-2006 it was reported that 31% of autistic students were placed in general education classrooms and around 40% in separate classes, typically referred as autistic support classrooms (U.S. Department of Education, 2007). Characteristically, the student will be placed in an autistic support (AS) room because the general education room is not the least restricted environment for that child.

Identity is a state of mind in which someone recognizes/identifies their character traits that leads to finding out who they are and what they do and not that of someone else. In other words it's basically who you are and what you define yourself as being. The theme of identity is often expressed in books/novels or basically any other piece of literature so that the reader can intrigue themselves and relate to the characters and their emotions. It's useful in helping readers understand that a person's state of mind is full of arduous thoughts about who they are and what they want to be. People can try to modify their identity as much as they want but that can never change. The theme of identity is a very strenuous topic to understand but yet very interesting if understood. How the Garcia Girls Lost Their Accents by Julia Alvarez and Farewell to Manzanar by Jeanne Wakatsuki are two remarkable books that depict the identity theme. They both have to deal with people that have an identity that they've tried to alter in order to become more at ease in the society they belong to. The families in these books are from a certain country from which they're forced to immigrate into the United States due to certain circumstances. This causes young people in the family trauma and they must try to sometimes change in order to maintain a comfortable life. Both authors: Alvarez and Houston have written their novels Is such an exemplifying matter that identity can be clearly depicted within characters as a way in adjusting to their new lives.
