Working with Individuals: as a School Psychologist
Children are our future of the world. They are the ones who will create the next generation. Therefore, it is important to start young within children, teaching them right from wrong. It is important preventing them from following the same negative patterns as kids of today. Many kids today do not really have a strong discipline, love and support at home. In general being a parent does not come easy or, with a manual on how to be a positive effective parent. There is a different factor that causes children to be disobedient or out of control. Or sometimes the parent can be doing everything right and shows much love as they can for their child. But, the child is given a negative and avoidance feedback.
There is always a reason why a child acting a certain way. Often times they do not know how to communicate what their problem is. Tends to let it all build up inside and cope with it by doing drugs, joining a gang, disrespecting their parent, drinking alcohol and other bad behaviors. Sometimes children bring the same negative energy to the school and misbehave by fighting or disrespecting their teacher. In the Human Service field, there is a School Psychologist who reaches out to children and find out the exact problem they are experiencing.

School psychologists assist adolescent and teens are successful socially, academically, behaviorally and emotionally. They work side by side with schoolteacher, parents and other professionals build safe, positive and supportive learning environments that build up the connections among home, school and the body politic for entire students. By the same token, to licensure, the school psychologist is permitted to obtain the national certification through the National School Psychologist Certification Board (NSPCB) and acquire the Nationally Certified School Psychology credential (Graves, 2014). However, each state varies with what is needed to be a psychologist license holder. School psychology has to renew their license by completing a renewal application and meeting the required fees. For example, when their current license expires at midnight he or she has to reapply. They will need to receive a renewal notification from the department a friendly reminder, always keep the current address on file updated. For a worst case scenario, if failed to renew the license will result in a license being placed in delinquent status it does not matter if it is an active or inactive license.
