Working with my collaborative team, I am able to know more information about my student in terms of their special needs, interest, academic achievement and accommodations. Every month, we get together to convey information about students that might not be meeting their needs in the regular education classroom. We share data with students, special education teacher, para-professionals, teaching assistants, counselors and administrative staff. ...of exams can be administered in groups or individually, but teachers have to acknowledge that several potential problems might come with this type of assessment. According to Friend and Bursuck (2009), a potential problem with group-administered standardized achievement tests is that norms used to interpret scores are of little use when evaluating students with disabilities because these students have taken the test with accommodations and are often excluded from the norming group. This type of exam might also be culturally biased for students that live in a city and have to predict outcomes when reading stories about people that live in the suburbs.
