Life is a path where, everything is uncertain. Time between death and birth fluctuates with its vagueness, where various questions arises in human life. Life can change in fraction of seconds. William Shakespeare one of the greatest writer and dramatist of all times in English Language wrote the Hamlet around 1599-1601. The same thing happens to Prince Hamlet when his father dies, his mother Gertrude marries his uncle Claudius, who becomes the king of Denmark instead of him (prince hamlet). The sanity or insanity in hamlet remains highly debatable throughout the play as all the character show both characteristics. As the play progresses, he soon finds out about a mysterious creature (ghost) that has been roaming around the castle. After the research he finds out the ghost was more than a ghost that, it says "I am thy father 's spirit,"(1.4.70). When he first saw the ghost (prince hamlet’s father) he did not believe it to be true but as they went on to have a meaningful conversation, Hamlet discovers something that changes his whole life and just cannot accept the happenings. This drives him crazy and on the verge of losing his senses. When his father’s spirit (the ghost) clarifies that Claudius his uncle was the reason for his death and tells Hamlet to take a revenge saying; Revenge his foul play and most unnatural murder (1.5.25). The talking to the ghost itself seems to be total madness but there is one thing that is believed to some extent, if something is left undone at the time of death, the spirit of that person (named as ghost) will be around until the job is done. This gives him a sort of pathway to head on, and he sets off to kill his own uncle for vengeance against the death of his father. To find out what was going on, his mother and uncle send his two friends Rosencrantz and Guildenstern to him. But they could not find anything out as Hamlet answered the question freely and was able not to reveal the truth instead he makes some of the actors perform for him, making the curious people around him showing some interest, so, that there is nothing in between to make nobody believe that he was insane. Then, Polonius knows about what Hamlet has done. Polonius also makes people believe that this the only reason that made him mad (the sanity of Hamlet). Similarly, Claudius is planning to send Hamlet to England. Even in this point, I do not find Hamlet insane but the peoples’ set of mind happens to react or believe that prince has gone mad or insane, whereas we can say Hamlet knows what he should be up to and significantly plays the role where he makes people feel that everything is normal but only I know what I am doing so others do not need to
