William Jefferson Clinton also known as “Bill” Clinton, serving as the 42nd President of the United States from January 20, 1993 to January 19, 2001. Who I believe including his faults, was still an amazing president. During his presidency Clinton had the US enjoyed the lowest unemployment and inflation rates in recent history, high home ownership, low crime rates, and a low budget surplus. They also gave him credit for eliminating the federal deficit and reforming welfare, despite being forced to deal with a Republican-controlled Congress. (Clinton, et al.)
The lowest unemployment happened in 1992, when Bill Clinton was elected the President of the United States. The American economy was just barely creating jobs, wages were very low, and the unemployment rate was a low 7.5 percent. His bold, three-part economic tactics focused on three objectives: spending discipline, investing in the U.S education, health care everyone could use, advance farther with science and technology, and opening foreign markets to expand trade. Today�s job release provides more evidence that this tactics is working efficiently. (House, 2000)
America’s families and the communities faced serious problems with crime happening in 1992. The most violent crimes were reported at high rates in 1992 than ever before, with murders, rapes, robberies and aggravated assaults has reached almost to two million occurrences in the United States. Gun crime had reached to the highest point in 20 years with total gun crimes reported at nearly half of a million. Parents fighting the daily battle to keep their children away from the drugs, gangs, and drinking, younger people than ever were involved in violent crimes. The President's success will undoubtedly historic in history, as the administration helped end the conflict that had threatened the security of Europe. As there is always a downside, the failure to act in Rwanda, is a large aspect in the future historic evaluation for years to come. Clinton's overall management with the “post-Cold War” environment was certainly endured a great scrutiny from many people. (Virginia)
