If the United States had not delayed their decision to go to war against Hitler’s Nazi Germany then the war may have concluded earlier and potentially saved millions of lives. Hitler and the Nazi’s were in power for eight years before the United States decided to join the allies and fight against Hitler’s regime. Approximately six million Jews were slaughtered in addition to millions of others during World War II. The United States delay in attacking Hitler caused a negative effect throughout the entire world. The facts present the question: what could have happened if the United States attacked Hitler earlier? When discussing the controversy over whether or not the United States should have attacked Hitler earlier, many points should be taken into consideration, before making an informed decision. The initial move of the United States, to counter the enemy is unknown. The United States did not start the attack, Hitler was the individual who first declared war. Hitler declared war on the United States on December 11th 1941. Hitler started to receive significant power by the mid 1930’s. According to a Gale Biography In Context article it says, “Nazi domestic policy can be broken into three phases beginning with 1933-34. During these years, Hitler consolidated his authority through the destruction of all other political parties (Gale, 1).” The attack on Hitler starts to become very important right here. Hitler was actually holding rallies against Jews, since October 30, 1923. According to Robert Carr, Ebsco database author, “ Hitler's attempted coup in Munich, in November 1923, ended in failure and incarceration (Carr, 1).” Also according to Robert Carr, Hitler was sentenced to five years, in jail, but he only served time for... ... middle of paper ... ...t was a horrific war. So the facts show that if the United States of America stepped in and attacked Adolf Hitler sooner. Works Cited "Adolf Hitler." World of Criminal Justice. Gale, 2002. Gale Biography In Context. Hitler had a lot to do with Germany and he was remembered but not because of anything positive, but because he was one of the worst coldhearted dictators Germany or the world could’ve experienced. My view and Topic is worth consideration by the reader because it will inform them more about Hitler’s actions in 1933 and so on.
Hitler and the Nazi Party's Total Control Over the Lives of German People from 1933-1945
Goldhagen, Daniel J. (1997) Hitler’s Willing Executioners: Ordinary Germans and the Holocaust (Abacus : London)
Synopsis – Hitler’s Willing Executioners is a work that may change our understanding of the Holocaust and of Germany during the Nazi period. Daniel Goldhagen has revisited a question that history has come to treat as settled, and his researches have led him to the inescapable conclusion that none of the established answers holds true. Drawing on materials either unexplored or neglected by previous scholars, Goldhagen presents new evidence to show that many beliefs about the killers are fallacies. They were not primarily SS men or Nazi Party members, but perfectly ordinary Germans from all walks of life, men who brutalized and murdered Jews both willingly and zealously. “They acted as they did because of a widespread, profound, unquestioned, and virulent anti-Semitism that led them to regard the Jews as a demonic enemy whose extermination was not only necessary but also just.”1 The author proposes to show that the phenomenon of German anti-Semitism was already deep-rooted and pervasive in German society before Hitler came to power, and that there was a widely shared view that the Jews ought to be eliminated in some way from German society. When Hitler chose mass extermination as the only final solution, he was easily able to enlist vast numbers of Germans to carry it out.

When war broke out, there was no way the world could possibly know the severity it would have taken on the people of the world. Fortunately one country saw and understood that Germany and its allies would have to be stopped. America’s Involvement in World War II not only contributed in the downfall of the insane Adolph Hitler and his Third Reich, but also came at the best time and moment. If the United States entered the war any earlier the consequences would probably have been worse.
One of the utmost well-known public figures in the record of the world is Adolf Hitler. Adolf Hitler’s influence on the twentieth century is far more than any other person. Several superiors have had motivations of controlling the world, but limited have had the intensity or authority to even endeavor world dominance. Even though, his acts were not explained, Hitler came to be the most leading man in the world. Whether this effect is thought to be good or not, Hitler’s impact on the world, is unquestionable. Hitler was only the few people who had the capacity to halter a group into a fight for dishonest reasons, and entire control over Germany. Hitler’s assurance to Germany was to carry the country back to a highest world power status, which lead to enticed the nation into his regime. Germany had aspirations of authority and excellence, and Hitler was the leader who was ready to achieve that for them. Germany followed Hitler’s lead, and this also led to the total destruction and nearly annihilation of the Jews in Europe. It is distressing to say, but only a person who had great strategy and leadership abilities could lead such a drive. Adolf Hitler was delivered in birth at Austria on April 20, 1889 to the mother of laborer household. His father Alois Hitler was clever and very pushy particularly when it came to his adolescents. Adolf’s mom Klara Hitler was younger than Alois and was not as stern as him, this would be one of the main elements that would root Adolf to be more loving to his mother than his father. Klara and Alois Hitler produce five adolescents but Klara was Alois’s 3rd partner, nevertheless, just two of them would become grown-ups. Adolf and his little sister Paula who would ultimately live longer than Adolf. Alois...

Most people in the world only think of one thing when the name Adolf Hitler is said. They think of the horrific thing he did to the non-Aryan population. Although these actions are terrible and unforgiveable, Hitler was not always that sort of person. He started his life in a much different way and was actually an extremely intelligent individual. He was innovative and brilliant, and had originally moved to Vienna to become an artist, but his intentions shifted into something much more sinister over time. Through an exploration of his life, it is easy to see that there is much more to Hitler then just the Holocaust.
Centuries later and the name Adolf Hitler still rings volumes till this present day: discussed in history books, talked about amongst intellects and commoners alike, and despised by many for years to come. Upon hearing his name many may think of all the negative things Hitler has done, but few fail to analyze just how one man created such controversy amongst a nation without being stopped. The question then lies how does a man reign over country and devastate it for years to come? Adolf Hitler, a man who excelled in persuasion and charisma was able to reign over Germany for years. Born in Austria April 20th 1889, Hitler grew up with many hardships in his life.
WWII could have been completely different if American soldiers could have gotten permission to attack the Nazis earlier. If the war could have been stopped a month earlier or even a year earlier; there could have been
