Why the Bachelor is Our Last Chance at Love One house, twenty-six swoon-worthy men, one eternal love-seeking woman, and an infinite amount of opportunity. However, we have narrowed it down to just two lucky men; palms sweating as they attend the final rose ceremony to receive their fate. Will the athletic, rugged, yet sweet Shawn receive the rose? Or will the homegrown, charming and handsome all-American Nick be the one to take a knee and sweep Kaitlyn off her feet? Forget the fact that twenty-five of thirty Bachelor couples have ended in separation; you and me both know the love here in season eleven is a life-long one; this one is real. They may dispute Kaitlyn and Shawn’s love due to that these people have only known each other for two months, have spent a limited amount of alone time together, and contestants have previously admitted to joining for the allure of fame alone; and hey, maybe they’re right, but probably not. It is obvious to us viewers through the way Shawn looks at Kaitlyn and through everything he is willing to do to make her happy, that he is here for the right reasons. You don’t come across a love this real and unadulterated in the natural world anymore. Meeting someone in public, at a bar, in school- that’s just overrated nowadays, and after watching the terrifying outcomes of most episodes of Catfish, online dating is definitely no longer an option. It appears to me that The Bachelor/Bachelorette series may be our last chance at true love. Am I saying I’m going to go sign up for the show myself? No. Mostly due to the fact that you have to get poked and prodded, checked for STD’s, are barely allowed to eat, have to fill out an ungodly amounts of forms and questionnaires, and even then are probably not even considered if you’re not a five foot eight, 110 lb. Caucasian female with the genetic make-up of a porcelain doll. All of which is definitely necessary, just not something I have the energy for. However, if you are up for it, it’s absolutely worth it in the long run knowing that your soul mate is bound to be somewhere in that crowd of twenty-five fame chasing, oh- and love-seeking,

His own wife, someone whom should be completely faithful and truthful with him lies to him on a daily basis. Her fake love is most clear when she crosses that line between actress and a real person. When she is acting she is trying her best to portray a woman whom truly loves him, but after seeing her act for so long even Truman can see her real personality underneath. He spots a person whom in real life cannot even stand him, but she puts a vale on to cover that. She probably really would like to love him but she cannot change the person she is any more than Truman can. Truman’s best friend has the same fake love traits as his wife. Even though they were friends from children they always had a secret between them. He had the illusion of loving Truman probably just because he had known him so long. Though, once you’ve lied to a person over and over the love is gone. He lied so many times that by the end of the film it could be seen that even at Truman’s worst moment he could lie to him to keep his job and the show going on. Truman’s wife and friend were not the only people in his life that had an illusion of love for him. Every one that he came in contact with in his own little city had a sort of fake love for him. He was the reason that they were employed and the reason that the show went on.
