To begin, Mathematics began with counting. The first mathematics can be traced to the ancient country of Babylon and to Egypt during the 3rd millennium BC. This ultimately began a better understanding of more high powered mathematical development. Mathematics has truly evolved from the idea of the number concept to now in the 21st century where we clearly see fundamental changes in concepts, organization, scope, outlook, and practice. Can you imagine being in the past with our forefathers who didn’t have a calculator to make things easier? We have to be grateful and appreciate the viewpoints of mathematicians’ centuries ago as well as their contributions.
