Responsible for coordinating, planning, directing health and medical services. First, a background in business may be needed, majority of administrator’s have at least a bachelor’s degree in a business-related major (Healthcare administration-salary, training, schools, job description & more, 2015). Most scholars, in the past, chose the traditional route of achieving a traditional Master’s Degree in Health Administration, in contrast, students today are examining the options, containing degrees in business with course focus in health services management (Health administrator , n.d.). Specialized healthcare administration and general business administration are the two different programs, which the course work orbits within. In other words, healthcare administrators are whichever generalists or specialist. Generalist supervise an entire facility, whereas, specialist oversee medical departments. Secondly, it is important to practice public speaking and business writing skills often as possible (Scroggins, 1999). Granted, it will be recycled more often than usual, in healthcare administration. Undergraduates curriculum include topics such as basic writing skills, public speaking, technology support, accounting, finance, and organizational behavior prior to having the essentials upon entering graduate school.
