Leadership is a skill that staff members, management and other individuals can obtain. How you use your skill will determine the success you will have in life. Reading “The World’s Most Powerful Leadership Principle” on how to become a servant leader has influence me on so many levels. The essence of leadership stated by Mr. Hunter, should be influence and built upon serving, sacrificing, and seeking the good of those being led. Whether you are a teacher, mother or father, and in the professional world anybody can lead in the right direction.
He talks about being patient and having self-control and in the beginning when I walked in to the clinic on my first day it was a disaster. That very moment I had to think what would be my first move because in the real world I probably would have breakdown crying and fearing for my job. Adults sometimes in life still act like little kids but it is all a growing process. He talked about his friend Elizabeth in the statement that she stated while in the hospital. She told him that her older friends are the same way they were younger only more so. When I read it I figured it meant that her friends was way worst then back then which elaborates on what George Washington Carver stated in his statement. However I am today, I will be the same way when I get older, or how you treat others is the same way you will get treated.
