When I use to play on gaming consoles years ago, I thought they were the best thing in the world. Fast forward several years later, and now I cannot bring myself to play any games on a console. Consoles seem blurred and pixelated to me after gaming on a personal computer for some time. People argue with me that gaming consoles are better at gaming than a PC. Playing games on PCs are more immersive than it could ever be on consoles. Gaming computers have higher resolutions and graphical advantages than a console. PCs also have upgradable hardware so the consumer is not stuck with the same components for years after their release date.
PCs are greater than any gaming console because games are cheaper. For instance, a newly released game on a gaming console average around $59.99. Anyone can argue that the same game on a PC is the same price however, that is the retail version. Newly released games on personal computers have the advantage to download games for a lower price that, are almost always on sale using digital downloading. The most recent deal I received on a personal computer game is Battlefield 4. The retail version was $59.99 on the release date for both platforms. However, the same day BF4 became available I found it on Origin(an online market program for games) for $29.99 for digital download. PC gamers are not locked into acquiring games from limited sources so, users can find cheaper games digitally. Consoles are bound to retail stores and their respective online market of either Xbox live or PlayStation network to name the two biggest markets.

And the old games you didn’t have to pay. Ps3 you could play. Now for ps4 you have to pay to play. And it sucks more because you get only like a couple months to play. Then you have to pay again when your month is done.
Many people agree that Sony’s Playstation 4 is better than Microsoft’s Xbox One and vice versa. I have been gaming since I was seven years old and still am today. The first gaming console I ever had was the original Xbox. Throughout the years though, technology has improved vastly. The last generation of game consoles gave the industry a much needed boost and gave the consumer another commodity. With the eighth generation of consoles just arriving, a lot of people are wondering which console to buy. There is, however, more than just the choice of games. There’s differences in processors, graphics cards, hard drives, design, operating systems, ports, versatility, stability, controllers, and, of course, the games.
In this Paper I will be talking to you about the Next Generation Consoles and about all of their specifics. Next Generation Consoles are the newest and the best consoles and computers out there at this point in time. The consoles that will be my main focus in this paper are the, Xbox One and the PS4. In the console-gaming world people know Sony and Nintendo. Microsoft may be the largest and richest software company in the world, but it’s unknown when it comes to console gaming. Microsoft is counting on the Xbox to change that perception. Gamers may not be willing to take a chance with the Microsoft Xbox, even if it is far superior to any console ever made. Nintendo Gamecube is nothing if charismatic. Nintendo’s new machine is half the size of any other console and looks like a toy with its brightly colored plastic shell and handle. Nintendo Gamecube seems mismatched as it goes up against the Microsoft Xbox and the Sony Playstation 2 (a multimedia mayhem that Sony says it’s supposed to be “The Future Of Entertainment”). My thesis is to show why Mac is better than PC. The debate has continued Mac vs. PC. Buying a Mac is like buying a Mercedes Benz it is quality and unique. Buying a PC well it’s like buying a bad copy of Mac. If your time has value you should use a Mac. There are hundreds and thosands of PC’s but they all are a waste of time and money. Barrack Obama discussed this as well in the United States, he invested millions of dollars on research. He is not sure of what gaming exactly does with the human brain and wants to know more about this ‘problem’.
