Introduction
When life throws you rotten lemons, it is hard to make lemonades out of them. So we need to make sure we use it before it expires! This is a self-help book that will help you get out of your self-destructive ways of thinking, and live a positive way. Without being positive life with destroy you from the inside out and sometimes it is very difficult to rewind and fix a situation. I call it “evil thoughts and actions that can slowly kill you”. So stop your negative behavior while you can. So when life gives you lemons, let’s make lemonade with some sweet sugar right away, instead of waiting and lemons rot! This book is not meant to scare you but for you to be aware of the behaviors you may encounter with though out your live that can cause harm to you or the people around you. Depression
Depression is described as a feeling a person has such as sad, blue, unhappy, miserable, or down in the dumbs. Well, we all felt that way from time to time and that is normal as life happens. Today’s modern community generates a judgement that negative experiences will ruin your life, but studies show that negativity can actually result in positive change. For example, negativity can positively change teenagers actions, introduce teenager’s to more supportive environments, and help fix broken relationships.
Depression brings people down to a joyless state in which they do not see the positive side of any concept. However, with proper medications and treatments, they can be brought back to normal emotion levels. Lets begin by giving the description given in the DSM-IV-TR on Major Depressive Disorder. The DSM states “five (or more) of the following symptoms have been present during the same 2-week period and represent a change from previous functioning; at least one of the symptoms is either (1) depressed mood or (2) loss of interest or pleasure.” (APA, 2000) The American Psychiatric Association also states that the symptoms do not include those symptoms, which are due to a general medical condition or hallucinations or mood-incongruent delusions. The symptoms that the DSM discusses are the following:

All of those types of depression are most likely caused by a combination of genetic, biological, environmental, and psychological factors. The most common symptoms are: persistent sad or empty feelings, feelings of hopelessness, insomnia, overeating, and others. There are several forms of depressive disorders, which are considered to be serious illnesses, so it is very important to know their causes, signs, and symptoms to be able to make a diagnosis and treat them properly (“Depression”).

It is important to identify the symptoms of depression, the types of depression, who can get them and how they manifest, in other to be able to treatment them.
