Living a good life

Society has identified happiness to be a necessity that consist of wealth and pleasure and materials in order to feel satisfied. Therefore, people feel satisfied with the materials that they obtain and can become dissatisfied with their self. The good life focuses on obtaining intellectual virtues and the fundamental truths. Also, to live a good life they must obtain character virtues For example, a person must become virtuous by improving their character and obtaining reason. Also, the person must know the difference between good and bad actions. To be happy we must acquire the excellence of character and the mean between excess and deficiency. My understanding of happiness consists of being a better human by being aware of good and bad actions. Also, that our voluntary actions should involve good intentions. In order to live a good life we must be able to acquire the highest good by obtaining practical wisdom, virtues, and moral excellences. A good way to acquire these characteristics is by practicing Aikido. The lessons and ideas behind Aikido are also reflected in Aristotle’s book by using virtue and obtaining wisdom in order to live a good life.
First, in order to become virtuous we must acquire the highest good by performing noble deeds. Also, by obtaining excellence of character must be obtained by having moral virtue and intellectual virtue. Aristotle believes that we need to focus on virtue because he is concerns with a person’s character. Therefore, our excellence of character must be acquired by being able to achieve it by using the right reason, right extent, and right time. Aristotle ...

Aristotle and Aikido are a great way of living a good life because both of them helps us become a better human being by obtain character .Also, that we should not engage in causing harm and avoid malice acts. Aikido has helped me understand that we shouldn’t cause harm to anyone. Also, that we should be virticiopus because we will be able to identify what is good and bad actions. Therefore, this makes a better human being because we are aware that harm and malice acts are not a good way of life because it is only produces bad actions and avoids obtaining a strong character and self .Also, that living a good life is not about one self. We should be aware of our surroundings and how we can contribute in order to make the environment a better place for us.
