1. Why do you think that society tends to overshare, especially on the Internet or social media? There are a couple reasons why I think individuals overshare on the Internet and social media. My first opinion is that individuals like to seek approval from their friends. It can also be used as a way to show your network of friends that you are busy and adventurous. People also like to have the reassurances that their friend like them and approve of their behavior. For example, my sister practically lives on Facebook and thinks we all want or need to know what she is doing or feeling throughout her day. Each of her post usually has a large paragraph or photos. It is awful to see how kids get away with such horrific cyber bullying when adults are not supervising their media channels. For example, kids should not be exposed or participate in sexting or sharing nude photos of themselves. It could cause a lot of harm and expose them to unhealthy practices or wrong information about sex.
4. Do you believe that posting online (e.g., tweeting) a form of narcissism or is this a legitimate and useful form of self-revelation?
I feel like this could go either way. Most people use twitter to educate, bring awareness or spark a friendly debate. Those are useful forms that I think are legitimate and helpful. If you are posting all about yourself, bragging and oversharing personal information then I see it as narcissistic

I think sexting at a young age does not allow teens to respect women and their body. I also think that teens may get misinformed views and information about healthy sex practices through sexting. This is why sexual education is a joke in schools. I remember my sexual education only focused on the male and female anatomy. They did not talk to use about the emotional aspects or the healthy practices of sex. They also did not talk openly about masturbation or how porn is not how sex really is.
