It was December 2013, my parents, siblings, and I were visiting Mexico to spend Christmas with our family. We made many pleasant memories, excluding one that is unforgettable. Unforgettable for a reason in particular, death. At the beginning of our stay in Mexico, we were invited to a wedding. Two of my mom 's brothers decided to share their wedding day to make a larger celebration. The church service was done beautifully, and the decoration was amazing. There were a multitude of flowers, creating an array of color and adding to the already aesthetic church. Not long after, everyone greeted the two couples at the entrance, throwing rice and confetti. It was my grandparents, dad, siblings, mom, a few of her siblings, and me gossiping whcomile we waited for the last few drunks to leave who didn 't receive the memo. Later, we were interrupted by a young man, he came running frantically, struggling to speak, and taking short breaths. I remember it being cold that night and even shivering, but as soon as he told us what the problem was the cold was so insignificant at that moment I no longer felt it. It was hard to understand what he was trying to say, but apparently there was a man on the brink of death. My dad and two of my uncles followed the boy behind the house and over a thigh-high rock wall. We were left confused and helpless waiting for any clarification. My uncle, Angel, returned his face oozed fear, his hands were shaking, he was on the verge of tears, and his voice trembled with every word he spoke. It was as if I could feel his emotions as I my heart rate increased rapidly. Angel explained what the boy had attempted to tell us, but with more detail.
