A Christian Rap ballad that I enjoy and think has a great message is “Round of Applause”. Written by KE on the Track and performed by Lecrae Moore (Lecrae) and Bobby Ray Simmons, Jr (B.oB.). This is a modern day ballad about people being stereotyped because of how they were raise or the color of their skin. But, they “beat the odds” and became better than what was thought to become of them. This song is meant to encourage people not to listen to what people say their future is going to be, to make their own future and prove they are better than that.
To begin, lets talk about Lecrae Moore, better known as Lecrae. As a child Lucre and his mother moved quite frequently, but grew up mostly in San Diego, Denver, and Dallas, Texas. Being apart of so many cultures, Lecrae found it useful. He could spread the word of God in so many different ways so everyone could relate. But Lecrae unfortunately he didn't start off with the intentions of spreading God’s word, but as a way to “communicate what was on his mind and idolizing in the street life.” “Lecrae received a revelation through the conviction of the Holy Spirit.” states his biography, by going to a conference led by James White. Lecrae began to share his testimony with his school the University of North Texas, which was encouraged by Mark 16:15 “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation.” Lecrae than volunteered at a juvenile detention center rapping and talking about God’s word.
Furthermore, Lecrae started his career when he released his debut album Real Talk on May 20, 2004, at age 25. Reach Records says, “Pouring out a genuine discussion of life issues and passionate, unashamed pursuit of Jesus Christ, Real Talk released to the world where he quickly became ...

...but she is going to still wear those heels. Or she may be saying that it will be difficult to get up that hill but she is still going to do it. In the end she graduates, not only that, but graduates with honors.
In the end, this encourages people to pursue their life no matter what their own or their families past may have been. Also to not listen to what others say. To do what your heart wants, because at the end that is what will make you happy. This ballade encourages me to pursue God and try to figure out what his plan for me is, because who knows me better?

story. In my two pieces, “Of Clay We Are Made,” by Isabel Allende, being a short story based on a true story and “The Man in the Water,” Roger Rosenblatt, being a personal essay also based on a true story. Sharing their similarities and having their own qualities that one another don’t have. These two pieces are of how the genres relate to the author’s purpose and identifying the theme of both pieces while comparing and contrasting them. In both “Of Clay We Are Made,” and “ The Man in the World,” they
What makes a criminal? This is a question that I hope to divulge a plausible answer for. Criminals are people who are liable of deplorable rough unlawful acts, which maltreat the laws of a nation. Criminality is the act of carrying out a crime, which therapists have concocted numerous speculations and reasons regarding why individuals perpetrate criminal acts. The two primary illustrations lie in hereditary and natural components, which identifies with the nature vs. nurture debate. Criminality
Is there a difference between a Carl’s Jr. Hamburger commercial featuring a scantily clad Paris Hilton and a Disney movie? Many would argue “Well, of course there is a difference!” Those looking through the lenses of feminism would see that both are highly sexualized and send a negative message to children. They teach young girls that they are only valued for what their beauty sells. In this age of technology, children are spending more and more time in front of their television. Whether it is an

Then, we got our specific event and made posters to share with the class on the event. Next, we made a basic storyboard of the ideas for the video. As we all know, Australia imports many products and sells them to many customers daily. We have all purchased a product from overseas and use them every day. In this letter I will be out lining some of the reasons why we should purchase Australian made products. I will also be explaining some of the common issues associated with buying Australian made goods. Firstly, Australian farmers, fishermen and manufactures are renowned for having some of the best goods in the world and if we buy their goods
We finally did it. Sitting here today, our journey of Middle school came to an end. Our journey, memories, challenges, etc. have made us what we are right now and preparing us for a longer journey ahead; high school. If we work hard enough, we will overcome the greater challenges in High school. Middle school has made us grow into a person we didn’t know we would become. Especially this Ib school has made us find our unique traits we didn’t or did know we had. If we didn’t know we had those unique
buy American made goods if possible. Because the American public no longer thinks before they buy an item, we are losing out manufacturing base every day that passes on the calendar. Every day you watch the news there are stories about how bad the economy is and getting worse with each tick of the clock. little white dots? We know that stars give off light, but most people do not know that stars are composed of atoms. We know that stars are made up of atoms because of the light they emit due to nuclear reactions from atoms within them. Scientists are also able to observe spectral lines when looking through a telescope with a spectrometer attached. They are able to tell based on these spectral lines that stars are made up of mostly hydrogen atoms. We are able to prove that stars are made up of atoms by
developed a broad knowledge of literacy. What made me, the reader/wrtier that I am today goes back to the second grade. In the second grade we did A.R. reading, we set goals every week and read books that were only at our reading level. Then we went to the library to type words. Throughout most of the second grade I didn’t really try with reading or writing, but it really started in the third grade when my teacher made me read and write everyday. She made me reach a goal every day, and eventually it
several reasons and changes that I experienced which made me love the game more and want to achieve at a higher level. Our team made a comeback from the year before, and that greatly changed the outcome of our team and how I felt. It’s interesting how a few simple changes could alter everything and make our team more imposing. Those simple changes made the sport really fun for me again and made me realize why I played in the first place. Those changes made me love the game. The first change that occurred
Throughout history, we have come to significant inventions and discoveries that have influenced our lives greatly. It is obvious that these inventions and discoveries occasionally occur at the cost of making major mistakes, but are they always worth it? Errors can either lead to difficulties, and can also lead to development. So the real question is, “Are mistakes a key part of making discoveries and inventions?” Well, after gathering the facts, I think that mistakes are in fact a key part of discovering

of “looking” was discussed, reasons why we look at some certain things. People usually look at everything and have an opinion or an idea about it, same in art. The majority of art pieces are meant to be looked at, analyzed, discussed, etc. Art is generally made to be looked at by people. It is sometimes the viewer's job to make sense of what the artist’s work it about. Also in the reading, it says that the power in which what we choose to see, those things we look at control our eyes, and it is different
