Without water there would not be any life. Since the early evolution of earth, water has been a core element in the creation and development of life. Almost all living creatures on Earth need water in order to survive. It is a primary ingredient that boosts the evolution of fauna, flora and animals. As a matter of fact, many believe that without the presence of water on this planet life would have never developed. In this paper I will be discussing several topics: from the necessity of water to human survival, to managing this resource properly. Water can lead to the wealth and prosperity of a country but at the same time it can be the reason behind the devastation of a country both socially and economically. Water is completely indispensable and without it mankind and virtually all other living organisms that inhabit this planet do not have much hope for survival.
Water is a molecule that a human relies very heavily upon for survival. This molecule is made up of two atoms of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen bonded together by a hydrogen bond. This element is very unique in the fact that it can be found in three physical states: a solid, a liquid, and a gas. A man’s body is made up of 60 to 65 percent of water, compared to a woman’s body that is made up of 50 to 60 percent. Water makes up a large percent of the content in every somatic and sex cell therefore going 3 days without water will result in death because these cells will lose their ability to function properly. One of the main regulators of the metabolism is water. Water is an element essential the process of cellular respiration that produces ATPs inside of somatic cells which is then used as energy in living organisms (Audersirk, 1999). Cellular respiration creates CO2...

Water, we use water to prevent thirst, as well as to prevent dirt. It has the capability to benefit our health in different ways. However, some people choose to neglect utilizing it to the fullest. Increase in water consumption may help maintain an ideal weight, enhance athletic performance, and improve one’s cognition; as well as helping us prevent disease such as the coronary heart disease.
Water is absolutely essential to all human life. It is more important than even oxygen, to every single, living, creature on Earth. No one on Earth, could survive without it. Historically, the water wheel, was first used to lift water from a river onto irrigation streams. Then during the Middle Ages, a water-powered wheel was created that was capable of harnessing power from the flow of water. It was used for smashing linen to create paper and in the milling of flour. Then throughout the Industrial Revolution, Europe’s economy was boosted by the creation of the steam engine.

Throughout the path of human and mammal history, there have been a small number of characteristics in life that are needed to maintain and facilitate survival. These necessities consists of water, nutrition, shelter and oxygen, which many historians, anthropologists and humans in general have began to realize. Through this realization, one apprehends the fact that out of the four requirements of life, water by far provides as the most important. Each year, the world population increases exponentially; today being over seven billion. Due to this increase human beings have begun to experience a serious crisis dealing with the loss of water. The world has become limited with its supply of water, due to its high demand. Humans believe water is a resource that is completely renewable and everlasting, but through many years water supply is becoming extremely scarce. Statistically proven there is only " 2.5 [percent] which is freshwater. Almost all of it is locked up in ice and in the ground. Only a bit more than 1.2 [percent] of all freshwater (which was only 2.5 [percent] of all water) is surface water, which serves most of life's needs (The World's Water). Water, on a daily basis, is wasted through many daily activities such as people utilizing water in their houses, at work and tremendously through gardening. People cannot live without water, but many do not understand how much water supply around the world is potable. Many countries around the world do not facilitate clean water, usually consisting of dirt and bacteria, which makes many people ill. The polluted water is usually in the rural and poor countries, that do not have enough money and technology to provide hygienic water. Contaminated water broadens the s...

Water is one of the most common substances on the the planet covering over 70% of the Earth 's surface. We ourselves are also made up of mostly water and it 's a trait shared by all other living organisms. It is unusual in that it can exist in 3 different states of matter: solid, liquid and gaseous. At standard ambient temperature and pressure it is a liquid and is almost colourless with little to no smell or taste of it 's own. It has no caloric value nor does it provide any vitamins or minerals. Yet water is an essential nutrient to all organisms. Some have argued that it is the single most important molecule for life on the planet.
Living in an industrialized country people hardly think about the consumption of water. People go about their day without ever knowing or thinking about whether their body is receiving the proper amount of water to function properly. They do not realize that they are constantly losing water! Every breath uses water, sweating forces water out of the water as well as urine and excretion (Erickson, 2013). Two-thrids of the body is made of water therefore the water supply must be replenished frequently (Erickson, 2013). Water serves many functions that promote good health and bodily functions. Water lubricates joints, aids in digestion, kidney function, maintains body temperature and helps the body’s metabolism (Erickson, 2013). All of these functions are important for maintaining a healthy body.
There is no life on earth without water. Life almost certainly originated in water. From conception to birth, a child is natured in a sac of water (amniotic) fluid) which protects and cushions the foetus against physical harm. The birth of a child is heralded by the “breaking of waters” after a child is fed on breast-milk which is 90% water (Nagin, 2008).

The Biological Importance of Water as a Solvent and as a Medium for Living Organisms
Water is an essential nutrient that our body requires every day. Without water human life cannot be sustained. Water deprivation kills faster than lack of any other nutrient. People do not think of water as a nutrient and don’t realize the important role of water in the body functions.
Water is the most vital part of life. Water is needed from humans, to plants and other organisms, and to do basically everything. Water allows our bodily functions to work and to remove waste from our bodies. Plants need water to grow, and humans need plants to gr...
Water is our main source of our life. We need it to live, drink, bathe,
Water is an integral part of not only human beings but all other creatures in the world. We use it every day for different purposes such as domestic, agricultural and industrial. Water has always been a prestigious resource. However, the majority of people do not appraise water’s worth since they do not face water scarcity; whereas, in third world countries it is one of the most serious problems. Nearly 2.4 billion people have a lack of water resources in the world, shows the investigation done by the Pacific Institute, an Oakland, California-based non-profit scientific research group. Moreover, every year this number is growing gradually and more people are suffering (Bloomberg News, 2010). There are certain causes which deteriorate current situation. The most influential reasons are global warming, pollution by human-beings and overpopulation. It is known that India is one of the countries which face water scarcity so this essay will consider the possible ways of solutions of water shortage in India.
