The War of the Worlds Imagine a world where humans are not the dominant species and have been enslaved by a foreign entity that has no other goal, but to take the Earth over. H.G Wells is an author who writes stories in an ultimately artistic way. His stories paint pictures that are both gruesome and horrible, but yet beautiful and courageous at the same time. The War of the Worlds is a story where the planet of Mars is at the end of its lifespan and is dying at a rapid pace. A species called the Martians, which were previously the dominant species on Mars. They realize that they have to find a way off their planet and onto a new one so that their life can continue as it once was. Thesis: H.G. The characters in the story are very different from each other and have many different meaning to real life. The plot of the story expresses a world being taken over and how man reacts when cornered and killed. This chaos and destruction pulls the reader in and makes them continue to keep reading. The theme of the story being the submission of man is a very detailed them with many different parts that have to be studied in or to be understood. The images that are painted in this story are some of the best I have ever read and pictured. All the gruesome scenes though seemingly unbearable are honestly super interesting. The survival and bravery of the Narrator in the story is something that every human should express. The War of the Worlds is one that anyone and everyone should read. It is one of the best stories that i have ever read. H.G. Wells is an amazing offer that m0ore people should recognise and read about.
