Experiencing Cyberspace
1.
If a survey were being done on how people experience cyberspace, one
would immediately notice that no two answers would be the same. Experiencing
cyberspace is something that is different for every individual. I myself
experience cyberspace psychologically, I experience it in my mind. There have
been many attempts at trying to define the abstruse term, but up to date, no one
has pinned the tail on the donkey. There cannot be one solid definition for a
word that possesses so many meanings. I personally associate the word
cyberspace with the idea of being able to travel to distant places without ever
leaving my chair. Obviously, I know that there is no possible way of visiting
different places or countries via my home computer, but in my mind, when I see
the location that I am connected to, it feel as though a part of me is there.
The best part is that I can switch from scenario to scenario without having to
travel any ground. I do not feel a sense of distance or location, except when it
takes a prolonged amount of time to connect to a host. When I travel from place
to place (site to site), I do not cover any known physical distances, but
instead I cover visual distance. Just as many people do, I refer to the places
that I visit as virtual worlds. I like calling them this because I never
actually get to see the reality of the "world". I only get to see it
electronically and digitally. The feeling that I experience while in cyberspace
is knowing that I possess the power to visit any where I want. When I click
one of the buttons on the mouse, or what I refer to as a transporter, I feel as
though all the power in the world rests at the end of my fingertips. I am in my
own sort of fantasy land. Once I land in a desired location, or website, I
have the opportunity to click on pictures and words that take me to new worlds.
These pictures and words have the power to make my virtual tour even more
pleasing by introducing me to new and exciting things. People have referred to
experiences in cyberspace, experiences such as mine, as a basic extension of the
mind. I definitely agree with this statement. I believe that it takes
imagination and creativity to experience all of the things that cyberspace has
to offer. With all the colors, strange text and mind-boggling graphics,
cyberspace is something that everyone must experience on their own.
Society throughout time has proven to be a frail and feeble structure that has failed to maintain organization on multiple occasions. People have demonstrated that with just enough chaos and pressure, they will have no qualms with deserting their morals at the sight of adversity. Whether it be creating a witch hunt to better the lives of the poor, or putting fellow American citizens’ in concentration camps based off their Japanese ancestry. There is no boundary that people won’t cross in order to feel safe and justified in their decisions. In Isaac Reed’s article,” Deep culture in action: resignification, synecdoche, and metanarrative in the moral panic of the Salem Witch Trials”, he examines the concept of
He demonstrates when guns are found in every household, gun control can do little to restrict access to guns from potential criminals. (McMahan, 3) So, McMahan’s main premises comes into play, either everyone has guns, including criminals, or nobody has guns. “Gun advocates prefer for both rather than neither to have them” McMahan remarks, but ultimately that will just leave the country open to more violence and tragedies. “As more private individuals acquire guns, the power of the police declines, personal security becomes a matter of self help, and the unarmed have an incentive to get guns.” (McMahan, 2) Now everyone is armed, and everyone has the ability to kill anyone in an instant, making everyone less secure. Just as all the states would be safer if nobody were to possess the nuclear weapons, our country would be safer if guns were banned from private individuals and criminals.
In this stage I would use my visual sense so this would be what I can
this in mind it will help you as an hlta think about how you would do something similar if you see
our lives. No matter what you think of yourself, there is a natural interest because you have to

Statistics shows that when someone is carrying a gun for self-defense, they were 4.5 times more likely to be shot during an assault than an assault victim without a gun. Antigun supports believe that if states have tougher gun laws and stricter background checks, it can prevent easy access to guns, which can potentially prevent gun crimes. Statistics shows that in the past 30 years in United States, about three thirds of guns were obtained legally by killers. Another con of having a concealed weapon is that accidents can happen. For an example, a spouse might accidentally shoot the other, thinking that they are an intruder. Another example is that children are curious. They might go into their parents’ things, find the gun and use gun. They might accidently kill themselves or either others around them. People fear that if concealed carrying is allowed everywhere, this risk will go up. If the state gets rid all of the concealed carrying laws, means that the chances that someone who is unstable will be able to get a gun will rise. If this happens then they might carry that gun into a public space and begin killing innocent
Because you 're on a different place, different people, different everything, the more things you see the more your brain absorbs. Because of that you start to put everything on doubt, everything takes a different perspective. They are obstacles that we as human have to pass through, it 's definitely a life changing experience, but it 's also a learning experience. If someone 's ask me, I would do it again, I don 't regret anything about it, because that 's what life it 's about. Life is about the choices you make, they can be either good, or bad, but are your choices, and you going to learn and grow from them no matter the results, that 's how you overcome
Geographical space, as we know it, is undergoing significant changes in its perception. It is in a state of continuous redefinition caused by the increased use of technologies that provide access to cyberspace. Although cyberspace has no physical dimensions, it is very real for the many of us who use modern technology. Whether it is the Internet, accessed through a computer or cell phones, or other private networks such as MMOGs (Massively Multiplayer Online Games), cyberspace is increasingly the site of choice for social and business interactions. There is a dynamic relationship at work, just as neighborhoods affect the cities around them, so does cyberspace affect the geographical spaces of its users. Because of this, cyberspace should be included in understanding a complete world-view.
Gun control only takes guns away from law-abiding people and it does nothing to stop criminals from buying illegal guns, who are unlikely to obey the law and register their guns at all. Most of the time the term gun control is improperly used. The definition of gun control is the government regulation of possession and use of firearms by private citizens. The government is using it as way to take our right to bear arms away from us.
"The way to find the 'real' world is not merely to measure and observe what is
The gun control debate may be one of the most important issues in our society. Gun control is the set of laws or policies that regulate the manufacture, sale, transfer, possession, modification, or use of firearms by civilians. Stricter gun control laws are needed since gun control makes weapons less accessible to criminals and the mentally ill, it can reduce the number of homicides, suicides, and accidental shootings in our country. Shootings in the United States has become a very costly affair. From the cost of medical care, disability for some, investigations, and in many cases death. The estimated cost is in the billions each year. There has been an increase in robberies in many neighborhoods, school shootings, and suicides that involve the use of guns. The current laws and regulations in place appear too weak. With gun control laws we can restrict or limit the possession and use of guns.
The second amendment reads, “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” With the second amendment the people can own guns and use them for protection and sport purposes.
Gun control is one of the most popular disputed topics in the United States right now. The government is trying to regulate how they are sold and what we do with them. We are a constitutional republic which means our government has to follow the constitution no matter what. It is plainly stated that we have the right to bear arms, and shouldn't that be the case for everyone? Gun laws should not be changed or adjusted in the United states, people depend on them for protection and maybe even a source of food. Yes gun violence is an issue, but adding more laws and regulations will not help. There will always be some way around the laws and people who use guns poorly.
Personally, I think I didn’t do that well with the peripheral vision factor because I don’t have to
