America Needs File Sharing
A Farce on File Sharing
What you are about to read is a researched story about file sharing. Although some characters in this story are based on real life people, most are fabricated. My advice to the reader is to take your time reading my story and pay special attention to the characters so that you will not get lost. Enjoy the tale.
The day was hot and humid and for Los Anglos the sun shone somewhat brightly through the thick cloud of pollutants up above. In four corners of the city, four individuals began their daily morning routines. It was early, but already sweltering and as these four individuals began their days none knew that the road, which lay ahead of them, would lead them to the same destination. One issue would bring a celebrity, average working man, a journalist, and an eccentric fanatic all together.
" I said egg whites! Hello! Don't you know the difference between yolk and egg?!"
"I'm terribly sorry miss. Lets talk in terms of color. You want the yellow or the white part of the egg?"
"The yellow! Egg whites you imbecile!" As the waiter ran back to the kitchen, she turned to the man in Gucci sunglasses she said, "Uh! Good help is so hard to find. I mean what kind of moron doesn't know the difference between egg whites and the yolk?"
" Well I still say you're insane for hiring that new aerobics instructor, I mean the ass on Bradely! How could you give up such a find?" The man tossed his head in disgust and took a sip of his non-fat, easy on the foam, double shot cappuccino.
" I know Jonathon, but he was absolutely monstrous to my reputation as a serious runner. If I want to win the celebrity marathon, I'm gonna have to get my mile time down to at least ten minutes."
" But darling what if you start to sweat? How will you pose for those finishing pictures?"
" Don’t worry my publicist is working on a deal to do pictures after I towel off and freshen up. Oh damn, I've got to go! I'm supposed to meet Charlie to prep me for the press conference.
I observed chimpanzees in the Kimberly-Clark Chimpanzee Forest exhibit at the Dallas zoo. These African apes, like humans, are hominoids and fall into the larger category of catarrhines. Their scientific classification is Pan troglodytes. There were about ten chimpanzees in that habitat. Most of them were grown adults, except two children. They were robust and had black fur. The average weight of the chimps was listed on a display to be about 115 pounds.

Another surprise Attack on Pearl Harbor by Roger Parkinson. Roger Parkinson graduated in war studies and later obtained his masters degree in Strategic Studies at King’s College, London. After a period of newspaper reporting he became Defense Correspondent of “The Scotsman” in 1964. He wrote books on war such as “the Origin of World War I. The Origins of World War II. Clausewitz and Peace in Our Time.(dust jacket) he was educated and that influenced his perspective on Pearl Har...

Since the terrorist attacks at Sept. 11, 2001, the surveillance issue often has turned away the table in the debate of individual privacy or counterterrorism. By passing the Patriot Act, Congress gave President Bush an immense law enforcement authority to boost U.S's counterterrorism, and the President used his enlarged powers to forward specific programs in order to reduce the threat of terrorism and defend the country’s safety.
The Patriot Act Pros and Cons is a topic that is much like a double-edged sword. On one hand many people feel they would like to be protected and feel that they will give up some ...
The United States of America is the place of opportunity and fortune. “Many immigrants hoped to achieve this in the United States and similar to other immigrants many people from the Asian Pacific region hoped to make their fortune. They planned to either return to their homelands or build a home in their new country (Spring, 2013).” For this reason, life became very complicated for these people. They faced many challenges in this new country, such as: classifying them in terms of race and ethnicity, denying them the right to become naturalized citizens, and rejecting them the right of equal educational opportunities within the school systems. “This combination of racism and economic exploitation resulted in the educational policies to deny Asians schooling or provide them with segregated schooling (Spring, 2013).”This was not the country of opportunity and fortune as many believed. It was the country of struggle and hardship. Similarly, like many other immigrants, Asian Americans had the determination to overcome these obstacles that they faced to prove that the United States was indeed their home too.
“I was so surprised! I couldn’t believe it was actually him. A rush of adrenaline went through my body. Along with being in shock, I felt some sort of relief and happiness.”

The attacks on American soil that solemn day of September 11, 2001, ignited a quarrel that the grade of singular privacy, need not be given away in the hunt of grander security. The security measures in place were planned to protect our democracy and its liberties yet, they are merely eroding the very existence with the start of a socialistic paradigm. Benjamin Franklin (1759), warned more than two centuries ago: “they that can give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.” Implementing security measures comes at a cost both economically and socially. Government bureaucrats can and will utilize information for personal political objectives. The Supreme Court is the final arbitrator of what the ‘law is”, causing a lack of circulated rule. The actual leaders with political purposes jeopardize our individual privacy rights, liberties, and freedoms.
I have often gone to a particular restaurant with my mother, who is white. Ninety-five percent of the customers and all the restaurant's employees are white, so I think it is safe to say it is a white restaurant. I always looked forward to going because they have fried fish night every Friday and I love fried fish. I remember the smell of the fish, the live band and the murmur of arcade games in the background. I never stayed at our table for long, since I always asked my mother for a quarter to "play a game, just one." Of cou...
“ I have been doing my job just fine, I told Emily I would bring her back more dishes, I told Tyler to keep stocking, I told josh to do prep table, and I told Brea to start lobby. So don’t tell me I’m not doing my Job.” I asserted growing more and more angry with every word. What she did next really took the cake.
There are two common types of Internet sharing. The first is online sharing, and is basically done by uploading files you have into a certain website, like “Mediafire”, and it would be available for free download directly from the website. The second is P2P sharing, which is a peer-to-peer sharing network that is established by P2P applications such as, “BitTorrent,” “UTorrent,” or “LimeWire”, which allows people who have the requested file link and share files from all over the world. These two methods are considered illegal, and violate files owners copyrights, because the files that are being shared are not provided for free by the original owner, which may lead into a decline of sales of the product. Moreover, in certain countries like the United States or the United Kingdom, any violation of copyrights could lead to a severe punishment by the government. These punishments may spread fear into some people and make them stop illegal sharing, which will to some extent make those people who are actually using these methods to download, will shift into legal purchasing. Furthermore,...
