My Life Portrait - Original Writing
…..War was severe. We had no food for more than a day. It was very
dark. I had a little brother who was eight years old. The only thing I
could hear was bombs and sounds of aircrafts. We were told not to go
out of the bunker. After another day the sounds of bomb died out. My
mother told me to stay inside the bunker and she went outside to see
whether the coast was clear. She came back and told us to come out of
the bunker. When we went out, as we have never seen light for two
days, we had to close our eyes. We had a little food left in our
house. It was covered with fungus. As we were so hungry we ate all the
food dividing it to ourselves. When the fight is over and if it’s calm
outside my mother used to tell me stories about how the war began and
many more stories. I was the first son and I just had one brother.
When the war began there was a law set out that at least one in a
family must join the army. We were so afraid because our father was
the only one in our family, so they came to our house and took my dad
with them. I have never seen my dad for seven years. Sometimes when my
mother used to tell stories, tears drop off her eyes; when I see that
I used cry loud.
After we ate our food my mother started to tell a story she started:
About six years ago when you were little, I left both of you with my
mum and I went to register my name, as I do every year. When you were
small you used to crawl out the home. I bought you a toy knife. You go
out the home and dig the ground. After I finished registering the army
took hold of me and told me that the enemies have rounded up. So they
told me not to go anywhere.

The soldiers of that era faced a lot of hardships like severe cold weather, lack of food, lighting struck, deadly diseases, and dirty water. Also, they lacked sufficient clean clothes. Most of them were discouraged and felt like giving up on several occasions. Moreover, the soldiers were confused and frustrated due to shortage of ammunition. During the revolutionary war, soldiers missed home food at the thought of home. But they were even more saddened at the fact that their home was far away . Unfortunately they were already in the field and could not turn back. Even though the soldiers faced all these mishaps, according to Martin Plumber, the most daunting one was the living conditions. Most people were still very excited about joining the

Many artists say that they were born to do art, that it was always in their blood and that they cannot remember a time that art was not a part of their lives. For me, this was exactly the opposite. I was always trying to do my best in science and mathematics and art was not even on my radar until I was a freshman in high school where I met my first inspiration for art, Zack Smithey. I was lucky enough to have Mr. Smithey as a guide for the start of my art career all four years in high school and he really pushed me to develop my portrait work. He helped me develop the foundation of my artwork, but at that point I was merely duplicating what I was seen and really had not developed an aesthetic of my own. For me, art was a challenge for me to
But then we found this little water fall the lead to a big pond. The bast part was the water was the clearest I had ever seen. So we didn 't have to defect it or anything. All of us were really thirsty. We were at that water hole for a half hour until everyone was filled up with water and we saved some in are water bottles so we could have more if that was the only one we found in the forest.
Every person has had a significant moment in their life in which they can state is the reason for a change in the way they’re living: a moment that has influenced the person greatly in many different aspects of life. If it wasn’t for “this” there would be no “that” type of significant life experience. Many of the occurrences we experience in our lifetime often seem minute in significance, but may become very relevant at a later date. We rarely can predict how a situation will affect and shape our lives until after it occurs and takes its place in history. Afterwards we are able to trace back to that situation and gain a clear understanding of it and its importance. All of this is more so popular with writers than anyone else, they tend to use past experiences in their life to give their works more authenticity in describing their picture. There are very few aspects that contrast their work to their actual lives.
When I was four years old my mum and dad decided to have another baby.
