Investigating How A Car Tester Works Using a Light Emitted Diode
This assignment is to find out how a car tester circuits works using a
LED (Light Emitted Diode). If these lights light up, the circuit
works. The circuit is tested with two LED light using green and other
as red. If one or the other lights up, this meant that the circuit
worked. The following pages will show how I had got the circuit to
work.
LED Circuit
===========
LED's are special diode that can discharge light when connected to the
correct a circuit.
There are two wires below the LED which show the way the LED should be
connected to the circuit. The negative side of the LED is the smaller
wire on the flat end of the LED. This means that this wire should be
connected to the negative side of the battery.

Diode Circuit
=============
Diode circuit is the same setup as the LED circuit. This works without
us knowing that the circuit is on. The LED is just for us to see
weather it is on due to we cannot see the circuit if it is running
successful or not. Also to test the circuit is on; we measure the
currents using a ammeter. If it produces a result, the circuit works.

Resistor
========
A resistor has many different bands that tell the value of the
resistor. See the diagram below.

Each colour band represents different amounts. This can be identified
and matched by using the colour coded chart.

Such as in Fig. 5 where we can see a blue backlight that illustrates a lone figure walking down a path and a lit streetlight at the front depicts a mood of isolation and evokes uneasiness in the audience as though the figure is being
This is the green light in the beginning of the book, the first times Nick sees Gatsby. The light is a sign of Gatsby 's desire to meet daisy again. The light has no significance now that Gatsby seems to have achieved his dream: Daisy. As Gatsby recognizes that he has reached that green light of Daisy 's dock, Nick notes that it perhaps has occurred to him "that the colossal significance of that light had now vanished forever." Thus, the quality of Gatsby 's long desire is gone and he can only show for Daisy his wealth, knowing this is what drawn her to Tom Buchanan. I think that if Gatsby is ever reunited with daisy that the light will disappear, and a part of his love for daisy will disappear with

The dark color of the chair fades into the background, making the focus solely on him. His white shirt contrasts the dimly lit room, pulling the viewers eye right to him. The blue rectangle spread across his chest highlights his heart down to his abdomen, arguably the most sensitive parts of the body. It is flanked by the two other primary colors, red and yellow quilts that lay under his arms. These two colors make their final appearance on a tied wrapped around the lamp. With the base of the lamp blending into the background, the light bulb has the illusion of floating. This tie not only grounds the lamp, but speaks to Wallace’s style as a writer, being focused on irony and deviating from society. Also, the bulb leans slightly to the viewer’s left, being the same direction as his gaze. While a more polished image would have the bulb be parallel with the side of the image, Wallace’s work dove into the truth behind the human mind, thus promoting individuality. Having this perplexing perspective of the bulb emphasizes the genuineness of Wallace as a writer. The odd symbols on his bandana also symbolizes individuality, leaving the audience confused and questioning its meaning. It draws the attention to Wallace’s mind and his gaze, as he appears to be drifting off into another world. Due to the scene’s lack of color and other objects to hide

Humphry Davy, an Enlish scientist, first created the electric light in 1800; he connected wires and a piece of carbon to an electric battery he created, and in return, the carbon produced light. This is called an electric arc. At this point in history, electric lights were only used by society’s elite. A few decades later in 1860, the English physicist Sir Joseph Wilson Swan found that a carbon paper filament worked well, but burned up quickly. He later demonstrated his new electric lamps in Newcastle, England in 1878. In 1877, the American Charles Francis Brush lit up a public square in Cleveland, Ohio with some carbon arcs that he manufactured.
