Fictional Writing

As Jonas approached the community, he did not know what to anticipate.
Do these people have sameness, like back home? Do they have free will,
or are their choices made for them? Jonas felt besieged by his
thoughts on what to expect. Gabe was bubbling over with exhilaration,
it seemed as if that Jonas coming down that hill, spurred just a tiny
bit of hope in him. As they were nearing the village, a community
member started to come near them, "Welcome Jonas, we have been
expecting you. Please come, let's get cleaned up, and put some food in
you two." "Sounds good," Jonas replied. By this time, they had reached
the village where all the people were waiting for them. As they
approached nearer, and nearer the citizens began cheering and
applauding. Gabe eyes were bright with exhilaration. He was just as in
admiration as Jonas was. What to expect they did not know. As they
walked down the street with the man, he started talking to them. "My
name is Simon," he said as he opened a door to a bath house, "Here you
will find a fresh new tunic for you and Gabe. You two can get cleaned
up, and then we have a ceremony in honor of your courageous voyage. We
have a nurse that'll attend to Gabe's hygiene needs, now go get
cleaned up, get dressed, and then tell the nurse, and she'll come
summon me. After Jonas was cleaned up, he put on the new tunic. "Boy,"
he thought, "This feels good." He sighed with comfort. The new tunic
was new, and soft, different from the old one that was soiled, and
torn. He thought about the new life that lay before him and Gabe. He
was nervous, yet excited about the ceremony. After he got dressed, he
saw a mirror mounted on the wall. He approached, gazed into it, and
saw his reflection. His features blew him away. He looked at his pale
eyes and saw they were blue. He walked up to the nurse, and told her

- The Call - Fictional Writing "All I'm asking for is a simple, attention-seeking advertisement. If you prefer, I can pay you a deposit straight away and once this bank gets up and running, I'll send over the rest by cheque." By that time, Clive Green, a thirty-eight year old bachelor, was beginning to get slightly frustrated with his childhood friend. "No, it's okay," shouted Carl over the roar of busy workers and machines in his workplace. "You can pay me a lump sum later on. For the time being I'll just make sure the billboards read: 'Empire Banking Corporations....   [tags: Papers]

- Eric Alone - Fictional Writing Eric steps outside the house and slams the door. He brings a hand to his head and massages his forehead, running his fingers through his hair, whilst frowning, eyes tightly shut; deep in thought. Leaning back, he slides his back down the door into a sitting position with his knees in his hands. Then he shouts, gesticulating violently: "Eva Smith…dead. And she had said she was expecting a baby. I would have been a father. What the hell was I thinking....   [tags: Papers]

Essay on The Accident - Fictional Writing

- The Accident - Fictional Writing I could hear the boisterous wind charging through the icy caverns of the station. My polished, black leather shoes padded against the escalator stairs, as I rubbed at the chafing collar of my shirt, aware of the irritating dampness. Everything seemed to be going against me. Morality had a vice-like grip on my stiff shoulders, and it was beginning to yank me back. Gripping the cold handle of my briefcase offered some reassurance, but remembering the contents sent an ominous shiver up my spine....   [tags: Papers]

- Room 13B - Fictional Writing "He who makes a beast of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man." They were somewhere around Keswick on the edge of Derwent Water when the drugs began to take hold. The Red Shark raced down the A591 at a hundred miles an hour. The Stones' "Jumping Jack Flash" blared. At the wheel, strangely still and tense, Raoul Duke drove - skeletal, beer in hand - stared straight ahead. Beside him, face turned towards the sun, eyes closed behind wraparound Spanish sunglasses, is his swarthy and unnervingly unpredictable attorney, Dr Gonzo....   [tags: Papers]

The Assassin - Fictional Writing Essay

- The Assassin - Fictional Writing The thunder smashed the sky into a million pieces, sending a roar across the dark and forsaken night. Rain fiercely hit anything in its way, which became more and more untamed as the night sustained on. The mist moved sluggishly through the endless and lonely street, as it covered the scene. Lighting gave way through the sky after another thunderous roar. A stream of water flooded the drains as it strolled down the sidewalk. In the distance stood a dark, long, over-shadowed figure, as it blended in with trees behind it....   [tags: Papers]

gauze, bandages, and some antiseptic. She then proceeded to garnish
his wounds with the bandages. "There you go," she said. "Thank you,"
Jonas replied. Then the nurse went and call for Simon. Simon briefed
Jonas on what was going to happen to Gabe and him. Then they proceeded
to the town's auditorium. As they walked in the doors, the people
started to applaud again. Jonas, Gabe, and Simon moved their way to
the front row in front of the podium on the stage. A person then
started to speak, "We gather here tonight in honor of these two
courageous people. These two have journeyed afar to reach here. They
had to overcome extreme weather conditions, and many other hurdles.
What they did took tons of courage and strength. Jonas came here in
seek of love, and happiness, things that we all take sometimes for
granted." He stopped and looked at the two honoraries. "Would you two
please come up here?" he asked. Jonas and took Gabes hand and together
they walked towards the stage. "We have a family that would like to

They want to give you a new life. They want to give you all that you
two deserve. Would you like this?" "Yes," Jonas replied excitement.
Jonas and Gabe met their new parents. Jonas learned what it meant now
to be loved, and cared upon. He was excited for the new life that lay
before them.
