The Factor That Brought Hitler to Power in January of 1933
Hitler became chancellor in January 1933. By March he had full
dictatorial power. The impact of the depression on the German people
gave help to the rise of Hitler. It Hitler's biggest help coming to
power, however it wasn't the only factor. Hitler had good speaking
abilities, which helped him win over the public. His use of force with
the SA also contributed in his rise. Hitler also used the weakness of
government signing of the Versailles treaty to bring down the Weimar
Republic. With all these advantages on his side, and with the
depression hitting Germany in 1929, it was just a matter of time
before Hitler would become chancellor.
The depression weakened the Weimar government because: 1.Most Germans
judged their country by its economic success, so it was failing the
presumed the country was too. The Weimar government seemed to have no
idea on how to control the economy. The weimar government had little
success of try to get Germany out of the depression and were cautious
of what they tried to do (they didn't want a similar event to the
hyperinflation of 1923). So the government raised taxes, cut wages and
reduced unemployment benefits, this all led to support shifting to the
Nazis. 2.These policies also caused the collapse because the partners
of it's coalition withdrew. Germany was now ruled by presidential
decree. But the president was an 84 year old war hero, and who seemed
to be well past his prime.3. It seemed that the Weimar government was
making a mess of everything and now people who didn't vote before
started to. These new voters heard the claims of the extremist parties
who claimed they could solve all Germanys problems. The nazis blamed
the Weimar republic, the treaty of Versailles, the Marxist's and the
jews and promised to get rid of "the enemy within". As a result of
1929, Hitler became remarkably popular. He made promises to the
military and to industrialists saying that he would return Germany
Adolf Hitler, head of the NSDAP, became Chancellor of Germany on the 30th January 1933. Following the 'legal revolution' of the following months and President Hindenburg's death on the 2nd August 1934, Hitler made himself Führer and Reichskanzler. The Nazi revolution was complete and Germany was subject to a dictatorship of the extreme political right.
The conditions in Germany when Hitler came into power were that the Wiemar Republic was weak, they had a democracy and after president Heindenburg died the democracy was even weaker. There was hardly any money, before the Great Depression began. Aldof Hitler promised a better life for everyone in Germany, and with his persuasive speech managed to get what he wanted, power. The treaty of Versailles blamed Germany for the First World War. The Weimar politicians did not seem to have an end to the ongoing crisis so they gave Hitler a spot in politics, his speech soon enough brought him up the hierarchy and lead to his success. The support for the Nazi party was rising every day before the Communists, the Great Depression did much of Hitler’s
Hitler was superb at convincing people to believe everything he said. He promised the people a roast in every pot, security, and many more things. By promising the people security that meant that he would keep them all safe and that he can do a better job than anyone else. Adolf Hitler increased in support from bankers and industrialists. So, pretty much he had most of the people who had higher power on his side durning this time period. The the united States stock market crasedd in October 1929 unemployment in Germany quickly rose to over six million. This opened another window for Hitler to get more peoplewho thought that they had nothing and their life was over to side with him. President Hindenburg did not want for Hitler to become the chancellor so instead he appointed Von Pappen but, Adolf Hitler did not agree nor did the Nazi's. hitler eventually did become the chancellor on January 30th, 1933 Hitler then banned all political parties. In 1934 the president died and Adolf Hitler forced his way into power. Now that he was the president he can change anyhting that he wants.
build up a name for himself, as well as, to get to know people in high

Hitler's Effective Control Over Germany From 1933 to 1945 the Nazi party of Germany ruled over the German population. The Nazis (National Socialist Party) were ruled by Adolf Hitler. The Nazis main aim was to make Germany into a stronger more powerful country and Hitler also led Germany into the destruction of the country by leading them into the Second World War. How was Hitler able to do this?
Why was Hitler elected Chancellor in 1933? Who supported Hitler? Who persuaded the president to let Hitler become Chancellor? Here some reasons why Hitler came into power. A man by the name of Adolf Hitler was elected Chancellor on January 30, 1933, which made WWII on September 1, 1939, which was a terrible time in history. On June 28, 1919, the Treaty of Versailles was signed. The Victorious Powers (United States, Great Britain, France, and many more) “forced” Germany to sign the Treaty of Versailles. This gains support to Hitler by promising to overturn the Victorious Powers. In the early 1930s, the Worldwide Economic Depression happened, and it hit Germany hard, leaving millions of people in Germany with no jobs. This hit them hard because
Hitler was appointed Chancellor on January 30, 1933, Adolf Hitler was appointed as the chancellor of Germany by President Paul Von Hindenburg. This appointment was made in an effort to keep Hitler and the Nazi Party “in check”; however, it would have disastrous results for Germany and the entire European continent. One interpretation of Hitler becoming Chancellor is that it was mainly due to the Wall Street Crash, beginning on October 24, 1929. Although, there were also other factors involved in Hitler becoming Chancellor other than the Wall Street Crash and the Depression, including problems of the Weimar Government, Nazi tactics and Hindenburg’s appointment of Hitler as Chancellor.
According to my reading, Hitler came into power one day after Roosevelt’s inauguration, March 5, 1933. He had begun his dictatorship of Germany as he had planned. Adolf Hitler was a man of innovation and much hate. He had been a soldier in WWl and he blamed the Jews for Germany’s loss. The loss angered him deeply. He also believed that the Versailles Treaty caused the financial crisis in Germany. (Davidson, 2008)
Hitler was able to rise to power because of desperation and a desire for change among the German people. The Great Depression began in the United States in
The Nazis and their rise to power comprised many steps along the way. With the help of Adolf Hitler’s mind they came to power with their political and economic strategies. Outlining the beginning of how Hitler and his party slowly gained power and took over Germany as each of his idea and his supporters helped him to rise. Hitler consequently congregated supporters of the Nazi party to make it stronger. Before the idea of legally taking over the political and economic of Germany, he planned to take over the Reichstag building with force thinking The Putsch was his way to success. ‘… the Nazi movement legally wound back the provisions of the Weimar Constitution, exerted its control over the civil service and legal systems and outlawed opposition parties.’ (Bidgood et.al 2006: 127). Since Hitler could not gain power of Germany by overtaking the Reichstag he was to do it legally by standing as the Chancellor and create authoritative orders to create his new world. In the beginning, Adolf Hitler was an unknown figure to the public, but he slowly built his own political ideas as he started doing speeches at the beer hall which was his initial point for his ideas to emerge and advance. Once Hitler thought he had enough people supporting his party, he explicit decision was to take over the Reichstag, but was to find guilty of treason. When Hitler was imprisoned, the Nazi party started to have difficulties and that is when different political ideas were emerging. After Hitler was released out of prison, he begins to regather ideas as he was given the role of chancellor. Eliminating the Reichstag and giving him all the power. The Rise of Hitler begins.
Adolf Hitler came to power on February 28, 1933 (Rossel). He rose to power using inflammatory speeches and inspiring hope for the defeated Germans. He constructed a system to empower the German people and allow them to thrive in the period after the Great Depression (Noakes). Using keen acumen and decisive moves, he was able to turn Germany into a war machine bent on the creation of an Aryan utopian society, at the cost of all inferior races, especially the Jews ("The Period between 1933 and 1939"). At this time Germany was a defeated country. They had recently had numerous humiliating defeats in WWI, and the Germans no longer had the pride they once had celebrated (Laurita). Augmented by the fact that the Great Depression had ravaged the country and left many in a state of penury and impoverished, the Germans were desperate. As well, Germany was currently a country without any source of stability without a generally supported constitution. When Hitler promised a utopian society filled with hope and where the Germans would be exalted as the superior race, the Germans listened and obeyed his every word (Noakes). Hitler fed on the desperation and hopelessness of these German people to make a society driven by fear; this state of pity allowed Hitler to convince the Germans that he could provide a better future.
Hitler’s rise to power was the result of many factors, but Hitler’s ability to take advantage of Germany’s poor leadership and economical and political conditions was the most significant factor. His ability to manipulate the media and the German public whilst taking advantage of Germany’s poor leadership resulted in both the collapse of the Weimar Republic and the rise of Hitler and the nazi party. During the early 1920s, Germany was struggling with economic instability and political uncertainty. Germany, after being defeated in the Great War, was forced to sign the unforgiving treaty of Versailles, which the Weimar Republic was held responsible for. This brought forward feelings of fear, anger and insecurity towards the Weimar Republic. Hitler built on these feelings and offered the secure and promising alternative of the extremist nazi party. Although there were many factors that contributed to the rise of Hitler and the collapse of the Weimar republic, Hitler’s ability to build upon people’s frustrated view of the hatred of the treaty of Versailles and the circumstances it placed upon the German nation, was the fundamental reason for Hitler’s rise to power and the Weimar Republic to collapse
In the year of 1933 Adolf Hitler seized the position of chancellor of Germany and this power that he received in January 30th is what shaped one of the most bloodlust dictatorships that this world has ever known. Hitler’s desire for power and victory made him one of the greatest leaders the world has ever seen but it also made him one of the most cruel and heartless people known to mankind. But how did he do this, how did he become one of the greatest and cruellest dictators? Throughout this essay we will explore the long, short and immediate causes for Hitler’s sudden success.
The Rise of Hitler During the 1920's and early 1930's Germany was trying to recover from World War. It had to pay reparations and try to rebuild the economy from bankruptcy. It was because of the weaknesses of the economy and the Weimar Government, together with the growing popularity of the Nazis that Hitler was able to become Chancellor. After the First World War, Germany was forced to establish a democratic government based on proportional representation. The main problems with the German system were that no one party had absolute control.
