Life is strange. I never thought that I would consider my one time enemy, my "best" friend. The first time I met my best friend was in the sixth grade. We both played on the same youth basketball team. We were both arrogant and bratty kids, who thought that the world revolved around us. With that much personality, problems were bound to happen. We made fun of each other and occasionally got into scuffles. Fortunately like all humans, we grew up and found a common bond that grew into a friendship.
Josiah is his name and he is my best friend. He is a brawny guy with a medium build. He has many heritages but the one that he is most proud of being is of Hawaiian ancestry. He has blonde hair to go along with his brownish skin color.
He is someone that I would like to say is "smooth." He is "smooth" because he has his own style that is different. He doesn't have the preppy, gothic, or surfer look; instead he incorporates every style into one. He doesn't have the notion to wear what's "in" but the notion to be unique.
His personality is truly one of a kind. He pretty much can get along with anybody. Even if he doesn't know a person, he'll go up to them and introduce himself with a handshake. He has the talent of making people laugh. He makes everyone giggle, from myself to girls, with his corny jokes. One time he made me laugh so hard that I started to tear up and cry.
His best attribute is that he is a good communicator. I can talk to him about anything. We talk about things from relationships to life. This past summer I broke with my girlfriend and he helped me get over her. Ironically he broke up with his girlfriend that he truly loved and I was there for him to give him advice.
Our hobbies are playing Playstation 2, surfing, and watching sports. But the thing that we both like to do the most is checking out the babes. The main objective when we go out is to communicate with the opposite sex. It's either us going up to the girls or the girls coming up to us. We would see them at either Waikiki or at clubs. We would prefer going to a club because we both like to dance, but Waikiki is a good second option.
Physical Features: Jason is tall and skinny; he has short brown hair and deep blue eyes.
One reason is that he is really smart. He has a photographic memory and he has a 200 IQ. He also could out smart adults when he was 5. Another reason why I like him is because he likes to play video games. He says that they make him even smarter.
But most importantly, is his love of purity. Like when he was about to throw a snowball at a car and hydrant but didn’t. “The snowball was very good for packing. I didn’t throw it at anything, though. I started to throw it at a car that was parked across the street. But I changed my mind. The car looked so nice and white. Then I started to throw it at a hydrant, but that looked too nice and white, too.
Sure, he's abrasive, blunt, unvarnished and maybe egotistical. But he's also got the self-confidence, fearlessness and knowledge of his personal mission that in past years, and some parts of Idaho today, would have gotten him called an uppity N-word, maybe worse.
“He’s humble and he’s always striving to be better and to help others get better," Dotson said. “He tries to stay positive, he’s always worried about others and he’s selfless.”
That he shares the same values as I do like being adventures, accomplished, independent and considerate. That together we can travel the world. That I have friends that want the best for me. Many times people are only in your life for a short period of time and even at that sometimes they want to see you fall flat on your face literally and figuratively. So I want to have friends that I can count on and don’t have to worry about them bring a negative atmosphere around me. Them wanting to see me succeed as I want them to succeed. Success is “the accomplishment of an aim or purpose” as said by Google. We all have a different viewpoint when we think of success, yet for me it’s simple. When I think success I think of me graduating law school. Not only graduating but getting my dream job at an at a good law firm, having my dream car, having an apartment in the city and being able to travel the world learning new languages. Success isn’t just about material things. To me being successful also means being able to share all those great moments and accomplishments with the ones you love the most like friends and
Three of my best traits would be my humor, my dedication, and my passion. My first trait, my humor, I get told that my humor is unique or just really funny. My humor has helped me get past problems and help my friends in their time of need. My dedication is strong, especially in band. I have put countless hours of practice into my instrument, and it pays off. I love when you dedicate yourself to something, and after a while, you become really good at it. My passion is a big one. I have so much passion in helping others, though

From the shattered glass windows of Jewish shops to the poorly propped-up tents of Rwandan refugee camps, the violence perpetrated by a dominant ethnic group can destroy entire villages. Khaled Hosseini, born in Kabul, Afghanistan, experienced these ethnic tensions first hand as a young Pashtun, and the negative attitudes he witnessed against Hazaras found their way into his best-selling novel, The Kite Runner. In Hosseini’s book, published in 2003, the carving on the pomegranate tree becomes a reminder of Amir and Hassan’s friendship. Like the friendship, the carving initially brings positive memories to Amir, but as Amir selfishly suppresses his knowledge of Hassan’s rape, the carving quickly becomes a detested memory. Not until Rahim Khan encourages Amir to rescue Sohrab, Hassan’s son, does the carving represent an opportunity for Amir to redeem his broken friendship.

I feel like I posses the qualities that he has. I am open-minded because I like to take critizism and change things. I think of myself as a thinker too because I am smart and think about things very criticly.
