Dear Mr. Pillsbury:
This is in response to your recent request for a letter of recommendation for Mary Lamb who worked for me up until three years ago.
Mary Lamb worked under my direct supervision at Technical Technologies for a period of five and a half years ending in August 2003. During that period, I had the pleasure of seeing her blossom from a junior marketing trainee, into a fully functioning Marketing, Program Co-Ordinator, in her final year and a half with the company. That was the last position she held before moving on to a better career opportunity.
Mary is a hard-working self-motivator who understands exactly what a project is all about from the outset, and how to get it done quickly and effectively. During her year and a half in the Marketing Co-Ordinator position, there was never an instance in which she missed a major deadline. She often brought projects in below budget, and a few were even completed ahead of the deadline.
Ms. Lamb is a resourceful, creative, and solution-oriented person who was frequently able to come up with new and innovative approaches to her assigned projects. She functioned well as a team leader and she worked effectively as a team member under the direction of other team leaders.
On the interpersonal side, Mary has superior writing and verbal communication skills. She gets along extremely well with the staff under her supervision, as well as colleagues at her own level. She is highly respected, both a person and a professional, by colleagues, employees, suppliers, and customers.
A year ago, when Ms. Lamb announced her resignation to take up a new position with a larger company, we were not happy to see her leave, although we wished her the best in her new undertaking.
...les she had set for herself but she feels that she did a good job at her project. She was alarmed by the way that some of her co-workers lived and felt that she learned a lot from her experiences.

Fishel plays a significant role to many lives while she is at work. She is the General Manager of the Chick-fil-A in the Parkway Place Mall. In 2011, Carolyn had a turbulent home life. Her parents were in the midst of a messy divorce. Her only brother had run off and no one had heard from him in months. She had been bullied at her high school. She needed an outlet and her parents needed her out of the house. She applied at Chick-fil-A and had her first interview a few minutes later. Mrs. Fishel does not hire from the surface of an application, she has the ability to not only read people from where they are coming from, but also where they are going. She took Carolyn under her wing, she taught her how to have a strong work ethic, in addition to helping her to sustain a healthy relationship with the people around her. There were so many times Carolyn had wondered if life was worth living. Despite her troubled past she is now married with a beautiful little girl, never having to doubt her worth again. Mrs. Chris is more of a real mom to her than her birth mom. She is always available for a talk at any time, shopping trips, relationship trouble, even picking up one from a party they had gotten stranded at. Because of this she has helped so many to turn their lives
In addition, Nettie obtained a reputation of delivering and was known by everyone at GM. However, Nettie was not looking for glory nor was she looking for prestige or a higher salary. She felt as if she was just doing her job, and she owed it to herself to do the best she could do. She put the organization objectives at the forefront, and tried to figure out what others needed and just gave it to them. What made Nettie exceptional was her ability to keep going even when things got tough, her ambitious, and value driven perspective provides a good message about influence that could help us all.
The word perseverance has become a keyword in Christyne’s vocabulary. No matter the obstacle placed before her, Christyne demonstrates a calm and collective approach every time. In fact, becoming a part-time retail worker was not her first job of choice; however, Christyne makes it work and receives praise from loyal customers on a daily basis as a result of her hard-working attitude.
It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Marsha Bradley, who was my colleague when I worked at State Farm Insurance Company from 1997 to 2004. Without question, Marsha is one of the most knowledgeable, professional, and passionate people that I have worked with in my 26 years of practicing law.

Earlier in the year, Priscilla Kinnard tendered her resignation with an unknown date of departure. We have been working with her to find a replacement before her departure; but due to unforeseen circumstances, it become necessary to accept her resignation earlier than anticipated. We wish Priscilla well in this next phase of her life and want nothing but the best for her. Nick Hernandez and Marco Segura are working to cover where there are holes and make sure all the work gets completed. Please make sure that you give them a little extra time and a little extra help as they help get us through this transition.
