“Verizon Wireless”
As we continue into the 21st century, one must consider the importance of technology and its ever-growing industry. This technology has made us able to communicate news, events, and other information throughout the world on a daily basis. Cell phone usage has increased ever since they first became available to the public in 1984 when they were large and expensive. Everywhere in the world people have cell phones, but as the shapes, sizes, and features vary they still seem to get smaller and faster each year. It’s not just the technology the consumer should look at. The United States has 3 major cell phone service providers, Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint. Verizon wireless says they have a great plan that is credited more than all other providers. Their unlimited talk and text with 2GB of data a month for $75 (Verizon Wireless, 2014). I feel that this is overpriced considering other providers offer the same contract only costing $55 (Sprint, 2014) through $65 (AT&T, 2014) a month. Also with more people on the bill the price begins to descend per person. I also feel that Verizon’s excessive charges apply too often, such as when I accidently go over on my data limit. Verizon charges an extra $15 per GB gone over (Verizon Wireless, 2014). This really adds up if not paying attention because the 2GB’s of data is not a great deal. Even though I feel that the charges may not be exceptional I still feel that Verizon is a good choice in the long run.
Something that everyone looks for when deciding what cell provider to get is “how good is the data asset”. The data strength Verizon offers is 3G and 4G compatibility with...
