Direct mail marketing is also referred to as direct response advertising. This is because it allows businesses and other organizations to communicate straight to customers using techniques like text messaging, interactive websites, display ads online, email campaigns, flyers, catalogs, letters, television commercials, outdoor ads, and newspaper and magazine ads that normally generate response.
