In order to make the campus more aware of the animation department, Chang created a YouTube channel called “CG Fantasy.”
The channel features student-based work and demonstrates the type of material taught in Chang’s class.
“I made the channel so our students can get recognized for their work and to attract other students who might be interested in animation,” Chang said.
All in all, the animation department is not as recognized as they should be, because they do amazing work. For examples of some of the students work, go on YouTube and check out their page, CG Fantasy.

The American Academy of Art possesses an interesting background. Frank Young Sr. dreamt of creating a school that would “provide the best instructors, attract the best students, and neglect nothing that will help them to build successful careers.” In 1923, Young decided to turn his dreams into reality, thus creating The American Academy of Art (AAA). Otto, the ‘Bachelor of Fine Arts Program’ was established in 1992 (“About the Academy”).

We all have rules and regulations to follow, and each student will know that there is no exception in the school or the classroom. Another goal in my classroom will be to keep the students excited about learning, not to treat school as a game or a social event, but to encourage a unique and fun atmosphere to learn.

Instead, EL students benefit in learning new content knowledge when an instructor methodically produces a lesson with a systematic I do you do approach; while purposely adding visuals whenever possible. Modeling content knowledge can be accomplished when the instructor writes the objective or provides an outline of what the lesson entails in student friendly vocabulary for each lesson where students can visually see. Next, the instructor should discuss what the end goal of the lesson is through hand gestures and changing the speed and tone of the voice to elaborate key concepts. Additionally, teachers should provide visual vocabulary whenever possible.
