• From when I was in elementary school and up until about the midway point of my undergraduate career, I had thought I wanted to be a high school teacher. Education has always been my passion. However, being in a college setting, I realized that I loved working with adults and being immersed in the university environment. While most of my background experience was in tutoring grade school students through my undergraduate university, since coming on campus at USC, I have gained my first experience as a counselor with USC TRiO’s Educational Talent Search program. I have been able to apply the knowledge that I have learned so far in the program in my interactions with my students.
