The Unspoken Principles of Life The unspoken principles of life that I have live by and have helped me find my success in life and been key to my survival. These principles and ethics have helped with me grow into the man I am today. It has also help with all three of my Marine Corp combat deployments and recovering from my injury that earned me a Purple Heart. Everyone lives by there own set of rules and regulation, that has shaped them and taught them to be who they are. The main principles that I will discuss are those of honesty, loyalty, never to judge, respect, attitude and common sense, just knowing who you are. Having respect came quick for me, I lived in a bad neighborhood were saying the wrong thing or speaking to someone in the wrong way could get you hurt. I always stay come and cool with everyone and treated him or her how I like to be treated. I also never wanted to get hurt or picked on for not having respect. Just because I would show respect for these people didn’t mean I always had it for them, most of the time it was just to stay out of trouble and not have to deal with the low lives. Common sense was another big principle that helped me, not every kid understands what it really is to have common sense. Other thought of me to be very mature and have a great amount of control. When really all I had was common sense, staying quite and not speaking out or being over rambunctious didn’t have much to do with me being mature. It was just you never want unwanted attention or for unnecessary eyes on you.
