How to Become a Citizen of the United States
Becoming a citizen of the United States is a very lengthy process. Not just anyone can become a citizen of the United States. There are many requirements and responsibilities to becoming a citizen, whether it is of the United States or any other country. Being a citizen of the United States is a very special privilege. The people who do become a citizen should be very lucky and proud to be the citizen of the United States. Even though they do become citizens of the United States they shouldn't forget about their own country either, but share the joyfulness.
The process to becoming a citizen is not hard, but you have to have been a good residence of the United States. That means you had to obey all laws and be a person of good moral character. To become a citizen an applicant must be 18 years of age or older. They should have also been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence. Individuals who have been lawfully admitted as permanent residents will be asked to produce an I-551, Alien Registration Receipt Card, as proof of their residency. The applicant also has to have been residing in the U.S. for five years prior to filing with absences from the United States totaling no more than one year. Also the applicant should have also been physically present in the United States for at least two and a half years out of the previous five years, and has resided within a state or district for at least three months. The most important thing in the naturalization, or citizenship, process is the moral character of the applicant. This is important because the U.S., or any other country from what I know, would want a person who has been a criminal or has done illegal activities within that country. An applicant is permanently barred from naturalization of they have been convicted of murder or an aggravated felony. Also an applicant is not considered to be a person of good moral character if they have done any of the following within the five years: 1) has committed and been convicted of one or more crimes involving moral turpitude. 2) Has committed and been convicted of 2 or more offenses for which the total sentence imposed was 5 years or more. 3) Has committed and been convicted of any controlled substance law, except for a single offense of simple possession of 30 grams or less of marij...

... for citizenship, or because they have not met the citizenship requirements. One of the most important requirements is residence in the United States. Immigrants may become naturalized citizens after a minimum of 5 years residence, or in some cases after 3 years residence, by taking an oath of allegiance in a court or in a administrative hearing, or by deriving their citizenship through the naturalization of their parents. In addition to the 5.8 million immigrants eligible to apply for U.S. citizenship, approximately 687,000 children may be eligible to derive their citizenship through their parents' naturalization.
This is the process by which one goes to becoming a citizen of the United States of America. As you can see there are many things that you have to have to be eligible. Some of those things are for example, a specific age, a permanent residence of the United States for 5 years, proof of permanent residency, good moral character, etc. By taking the Oath of Allegiance you are accepting all of the responsibilities that are stated in the oath. When you do that you are a citizen of the United States of America, which I think is the best citizenship a person can have.
For many Mexican immigrants, crossing the border into the land of freedom and the American dream is no easy task. Some immigrants come over illegally by means of hiding in cars to cross borders, using visitor visas to stay longer, marrying to become citizens, and having babies as ‘anchors’ to grant automatic citizenship. Other immigrants gain green cards and work visas and work their way into becoming US citizens legally and subsequently gaining citizenship through paperwork for their families back home. After escaping harsh living and working conditions in Mexico, immigrants come to America prepared to gain education, opportunity, and work. This American dream unfortunately does not come to pass for most.

Immigrating to the United States requires individuals to submit a number of detailed applications to the federal government (CIS). If and immigrant marries a legal citizen in America they become a citizen under law. The process of gaining citizenship continues to get more difficult (Discovery). To become a citizen you have to be able to prove your know most of Americas history and values. Among these are the constitution, star spangle banner, and other important U.S. documents. The laws that are put in place minimize illegal immigration but not completely as no law can fully control and stop
The initial cause of all further problems is the infection. This can occur anywhere in the body. The most common sites of infection that can lead to sepsis include: urinary tract, skin, abdominal, and respiratory. These infections can occur at any time, in any population; however, there are some groups of people who are at a higher risk. These include individuals who have been diagnosed with: diabetes mellitus, renal failure, heart failure, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (Leon, Hoyos, Barrera, De La Rosa, Dennis, Duenas, Granados, Londono, Rodriguez, Molina, Ortiz, Jaimes, 2013). The infection is the first step in patients who go into septic shock. Performing cultures and treating this infection e...

the U.S. tends to be gradual and complicated. In order to immigrate to the United States,
but base on the constitution this is the land of the free, so I feel like no matter where someone is from they should have an operation to start a new life in the U.S.A. As the Barack Obama administration is burdened with many pressing problems, the plight of undocumented immigrants ranks high among them. Luckily, some of the most xenophobic voices on the national scene have been temporarily stunned by Obama’s victory. In this new political context, where Hope has vanquished Fear, we might hope that America can return to the task of constructing a reasonable and humane response to the needs of its illegal people. U.S. immigration policy has been a touchstone of political debate for decades as policymakers consider U.S. labor demands and border security concerns. Comprehensive immigration reform has eluded Congress for years, moving decisions into the executive and judicial branches of government and pushing the debate into the halls of state and municipal governments. Meanwhile, the fates of the estimated eleven million undocumented immigrants in the country, as well as future rules for legal migration, lie in the balance. It shows over and over time aging no matter what the U.S.A does it will not stop people from coming here to start a better life for them and their family no matter what the penalty
These immigrants have to do everything possible so that they can get a chance here in the United States. In the “Automatic Detective” by A. Lee Martinez, Mack Megaton states that, “I was more interested in reaching my destination than recording the experience, but one room caught my attention. It was filled with biologicals, and many matched up with my alien theory. One, in particular, looked like a giant weed. There were no sentient plant mutations among Empire’s citizenry.” (Martinez 181) In Mack’s statement, we see that when goes to the other planet, he sees how they change everyone there so that they can all be the same. What Mack Megaton is illustrating for us is very much true. Immigrants coming from other places have to change their whole lifestyle and get used to being someone else just so that they can fit in with the new country they are in. When immigrants want to be here legally, they have to pass a test for their citizenship just like Mack did. The test that these immigrants have to take is extremely difficult, probably one of the hardest test ever. The test they have to pass includes history form the Unites States, rules of the nation, and many other different subjects. Many of the United States citizens who have been born and raised here would most likely not be able to pass
