This employee, who’s boss trusted him blindly and like him very much, was in a higher position that require his present at all time, given that it was a regulation of the State that indicate that this specific position needed to be in the company during the entire time the business was open to the public. No only he will be absent, but constantly will show late to work once again using his family as an excuse. He’s excuses range from his mother or dad been very sick, to his kids having school activities or been sick as well and he went as far as to say someone in his family pass away to opportunely be out of work and not be punish for it. Although at one point the boss got curious and call him to the office and ask him why so many absents, he was smart enough to convince his boss.

...rstated, but it was a reality I live for a long time, where I ask myself how can this be possible and how would I have approach this issue. At first, because I was upset, I wanted the boss and the employee to be fire, but that’s not always the solution as we have good employees making unethical decision that can be straighten out. Consequently the format presented has help me understand that giving an opportunity to rectify a problem can become a better solution than getting rid of employees. I have also learn through this analysis that there will always be ethical issues that needs to be looking at more profoundly as in my case. Who seems to be the problem is not necessary the one, but instead someone above or bellow them. Is necessary to analyze all data and come out with different solutions before driving a conclusion that might not be the best for the incident.
