There have been several news articles that have been published that have commented on Uber’s ethical decisions or lack thereof. For example, when an Uber struck and killed a child in San Francisco, Uber refused to take responsibility for the incident because they claimed, “he was not carrying a passenger and was therefore not working for the company at the time” [@7]. This drew heavy criticism to Uber because many people believed that the company was acting unethically in regards to their statement and lack of action. However, in another case, Uber also attempted to make ethical decisions in regards to societal responsibility by releasing an article showcasing data that shows how Uber has been able to reduce the amount of DUI’s and drunk driving accidents in cities where Uber is has been introduced

Before they start recruiting, the company must decide what attributes and qualities they want in candidates and define as a hiring group what great looks like. After defining what specific attributes they are looking for, Google must then work to build an applicant pool that is filled with qualified candidates that would be a great fit for Google. With the incentive benefits that Google offers for referrals, Google can use selection tactics such as walk-ins, college campus visits, Internet recruiting such as LinkedIn and Google+, and referrals. By using these recruiting and selection tactics, hopefully Google will create an applicant pool that will sort out who the best candidates for them could be. After recruiting is complete, Google needs a structured selection process that can thoroughly determine great candidates by personal, phone and/or Skype Interviews. Additionally, formal pre-employment tests on personality, verbal, and/or numerical could be administered that include questions relating to performance, personality, and attributes Google is seeking for in
Tesla Motors was incorporated on July 1st, 2003 by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning. Their primary goal in starting the company was to commercialize electric vehicles. They started with an expensive, premium sports car aimed at early adopters. But they soon moved as rapidly as possible into more mainstream vehicles, including sedans and affordable compacts. Eberhard and Tarpenning were the first financiers of the company before the Series A Round of funding, which is the term typically given to a company 's first significant round of venture capital investment. The Series A Round was led by Elon Musk who then joined the Board of Directors as Chairman. Although Eberhard was CEO until 2007 and Tarpenning was vice president of electrical engineering,
Taking a taxi in an overpopulated city is a comedy of errors, minus the comedy. Consumers enjoy the noticeably less expensive pricing provided by Uber than a taxi, but the company has proven divisive among taxi drivers. My first experience in a taxi was not to long ago in the city of Chicago. There were countless amounts of people attempting to hail down a taxi and many taxis parked on the curb blocking access to future taxis to reach to their destination. Before placing the order, we were given an expected arrival time of 45 minutes. I was unsure if this was normal, since we were in a large city, and I did not want to sit at the same spot waiting for the next available taxi to arrive. For that reason, I called another service to compare times.

To be an official uber, one must pass a background check, be at least 21 years old, have car insurance, and lastly have a car. There is no interview process, face to face meeting or anything; you simply pass a background check and you’re an uber driver. In Cincinnati, an Uber driver with a criminal history attacked one of their riders. The lady jumped out of the moving car and called the police, "He wasn't listening at all to me, I told him to leave maybe 50 times, and you know he wouldn't leave” she told the police. Since 2010, the year Uber was founded, there have been over one hundred attacks, kidnappings, and assaults. Another incident occurred in late 2015, when 26 year old uber driver, Patrick Karajah, beat his passenger with a hammer and drove away. The victim of the assault recalls, "All of the sudden [Karajah] appeared at the door with the hammer and said, 'I told you to get the f*** out of my car,'". The Uber driver was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and battery with serious bodily injury, and he has pleaded not guilty to both counts, according to the San Francisco District Attorney's Office; Karajah was freed on $125,000 bail. Uber continues to prove why their business cannot be trusted, do you know who is driving
Since Uber’s debut in 2009, its path to total market domination has faced lots of pressure from various government regulations in cities around the world. Many countries and cities in the United States and around the world are still resisting the ride sharing companies in attempt to protect local taxi agencies and transportation industries. Uber has faced a mind boggling number of lawsuits from governments, passengers, competitors, and even their own drivers. Just in the U.S. alone, according to

Uber was formed in 2009 and after its historical success; it planned to expand into other countries like China, India Pakistan etc. The current challenge for Uber is the competitors in China and different regulations in these countries. Uber is facing challenges from two of its main competitors in the China. It hardly got rides of 1 million on a daily basis in China. Uber sales are slow in these countries. Now, the company is planning to think about the expansion strategy and its effect on the operations of the country. In a constant changing world, business leader almost have to play catch up with the world so that businesses remain ethical. With a capitalist society, I can see way people would want to maximize their profits and gain wealth. Though company might want to gain maximize profit, they still owe the community and the people who buy their product a corporate responsible. Corporate responsible is the way in which a company act ethically. Recently in the media there had been instances where companies weren’t acting in an ethical fashion. For example when Apple wants to build an IPhone, it contracts an outside company other than ones in the Untied States because of cheap labor. The labor conditions in these factories are unbearable and many worker commit suicide. Apple knows this, but yet still contract these companies. Apple in the eyes of the public is acting in

Based on the results, a list of recommendations will be composed for both representatives and marketing specialists who work in the same or similar
In 1995, the founders of Google, Larry Page and Sergey Brin met at Stanford. A year later in 1996, Larry and Sergey began collaborating on a search engine called BackRub. Backrub operated on the Stanford servers for more than a year before taking up too much bandwidth. The following year, on September 15th, 1997, Google.com is registered as a domain. The founders created Google with a mission in mind, to organize a seemingly infinite amount of information on the web. The name itself is a representation of this mission, Google is a play on the word “googol" a mathematical term for the number represented by the numeral one followed by 100 zeroes (“Our history”).
