Types of Friends I Have Had Through Life Friends are people who we know and with who we have a bond of mutual affection, typically exclusive of sexual or family relations. Through different stages of our lives, life has given us the opportunity of encountering with phenomenal human beings, however, others not so much. Through these people, there is so much that we can embrace from; it could be to enrich our persona or unfortunately deteriorate it. Indeed, friends are the siblings God never gave us. In addition, became each other’s backbones through thick and thin. They were also those types of friends who offer their friendship not expecting anything in return. If lucky enough, they would become our lifetime friends. Through my 6th grade in Gratigny Elementary, I met Eunice and Zinthia; we were mutual friends. My classmates were like water and oil. I will never forget the day I met Eunice. I had recently arrived from Honduras and only spoke Spanish. We met the first day of 6th grade. I was assigned to the seat next to her since she was one out of the three Hispanic students who spoke Spanish. Right away, I noticed how sharp and sneaky she was. Our friendship was built based on various factors: similarities, common interests, and adventures. We had various things in common; one being that she was also from Honduras. His personality was out of this world, which I believe was what made us friends. I admired how outspoken and talented he was. We both had two things in common: similar personalities and loved to dance. We were also walking buddies; we walked from school to our houses.
