Everyone’s personalities are different. After taking the “Everything DISC Personality Test” I have realized there are a lot more personalities than I thought. There are many things you can find out about personality test. You can find the name of the creator of the test, what the test measures, type indicators of the test, how the scores are calculated, your personal results, if you think the results are accurate and if you would recommend it to a peer.
“Everything DISC” has been around for quite some time. It has not always been called Everything DISC. John Wiley and his sons are the current owners of the program and are the ones that named it. Prior to purchasing the program in 2012, it was known as “Inscape Publishing”, which was created in 1984.
This test measures the different personality types each person has. Learning your style can help you understand how to relate to others. The test has four categories to choose from, Dominance, Influence, Conscientiousness, and Steadiness. Each section means something, Dominance: direct, firm, results-oriented, strong-willed and forceful. Influence: outgoing, enthusiastic, optimistic, high-spirited and lively. Conscientiousness: analytical, reserved, precise, private, and systematic. Steadiness: even-tempered, accommodating, patient, humble and tactful. Everyone is a blend of all four styles. You may be a firm “I” or you could be an “IS”.
As you take the assessment it will ask you a lot of different questions. The way you answer the questions determines what category you fall in. If you picture a circle and divide it into four parts, each part is a category. I would most definitely recommend “Everything DISC” personality test to other people. Especially if you are in a workforce and you are trying to see who work better with who. After taking the test, it explains clearly why one style might not get along with another style.
Everyone’s personalities are different. After taking the “Everything DISC Personality Test” I have realized there are a lot more personalities than I thought. There are many things you can find out about personality test.
