There are many basketball players in the world. Throughout the history, some players became more known than other players. Kobe Bryant and Dwyane Wade are very well known in this world. Although their awards are similar, Kobe Bryant is a better basketball player than Dwyane Wade because of his statistics and records.

Michael played in a completely different era than LeBron James. It was an era of short shorts, not the baggy ones seen on today’s players. Because of the differences in competition and style of play, it is not possible to tell who the better player is. Both players should be recognized as some of the greatest to ever play the game of basketball for their individual, unique abilities. It’s not about comparing apples and oranges.

These traits that both of the stars have really make their fans and supporters love them even more! Both of these stars show how American Society love their stars and role models.
The definition of an outlaw is “One that is unconventional or rebellious”. Billy the Kid and Jesse James were two notorious outlaws, both icons of the Wild West. Billy the kid, a hard headed criminal with no mercy, a ruthless killer that so many men and women were afraid of became a problem that the law could not put up with. On the other hand Jesse James became an organized crime boss that tried to strike it rich by rebelling against the North. Jesse James also became a large problem to the law. Both men had a story to tell, two different stories that when compared, are not very different at all.
To begin with, I would like to tell you how Michael Jordan is the most well known athlete throughout the U.S. First off, Mike has many endorsements that are popular in American society like Nike and Mc Donald?s. According to the Bureau of Food and Drugs, one and four Americans eat at a fast food restaurant each day. That shows how much McDonald?s has an affect on the U.S. With Michael Jordan, advertising and supporting McDonalds, then everyone will notice him and realize who he is. Nike is a footwear company, which thousands of Americans purchase their shoes each day. When Jordan came to the NBA, he signed a contract with Nike worth $30mil (Jordan Michael Bio).
Kobe Bryant a shooting guard for the LA Lakers and Michael Jordan a shooting guard for the Chicago Bulls, two all-star athletes that are compared more often than not for the similar NBA accomplishments and play styles. Nonetheless personality is different for both players. Michael Jordan led the Bulls three championships from 1991 to 1993 and another three from 1996 to 1998. While Kobe Bryant took the Lakers to a similar title area from 2000 to 2002. However, the two are both great basketball players who have multiple accomplishments on their resume, are also different.. The biggest difference is their personality towards the game itself, because Jordan entered the NBA from college while Bryant came straight from
Beyond just a star player, Bryant changed the statistics in basketball history. In a 2006 game against the Toronto Raptors, Bryant scored a career-high of 81 points in that one game, the second
If you are like me though, and would like to compare the two in an easier way to understand then just pure numbers, then you need to compare their career averages. First we will look at Michael Jordan’s career averages, and let me tell you they are very impressive. Over the span of his nineteen year career he averaged thirty point one points per game, five points three assists, two point three steals, and six point two rebounds. He did all this while averaging a field goal percentage of forty nine points seven percent, which is remarkable. His numbers dipped of though when it came to three point percentage as he only averaged a percentage of thirty two point seven percent, but they went back up to a percentage of eighty three point five percent when he stepped to the free throw line. If you keep in mind that averaged this over every single game he played in for nineteen years it is mind blowing, and some would argue that had he not come back and played with the Washington Wizards when he was out of his prime these numbers would be even better, but that is argument for a different paper. Kobe Bryant’s numbers are also all-time great numbers, but just a little lower than Jordan in some categories. Over his twenty year career he averaged twenty five point five points, four point eight assists, one point five steals, and five point three rebounds per game. His shooting percentages were forty four point seven percent from the field, but like his idol Jordan his number too also dropped off when he shot three pointers, and he only shot thirty two point nine percent from their. Also like Jordan when he stepped to the free throw line he was more than likely going to make it as he averaged a stellar
Magic Johnson and Larry Bird defined the word competition. Each playing as if it was their last, and going head to head in the collegiate level and in the NBA. Magic’s and Bird’s legacy was so great, people today shape the way they play basketball so it looks like Magic and Larry. Magic played for the Lakers while, Bird played for the Celtics. The Lakers and the Celtics have the greatest rivalry ever in the NBA, and those two made the rivalry greater. They both were great athletes but different personalities and different teams, and that may affect their legacies. Whose legacy is better though? It's a tough question that may never be answered. Magic Johnson or Larry Bird?
Lebron James is the only player that has ever been close to Michael Jordan in terms of statistics
There is no way to prove that the teams would win championship without Wilt and there wasn’t many more wins the teams could have gotten if they had Kareem instead of Wilt. Also, the Orange County Register is in California and was written while Wilt was retired for over around 20 years and Kareem was playing for the Lakers. Whicker may have had some bias because Kareem was a star in California while Wilt, despite playing a few years for the Lakers, isn’t fresh in the mind of Californians. Just because Kareem is more likeable than Wilt, it doesn’t mean he is better than him or a better teammate. While there are a few people who believe that Wilt Chamberlain is the best big man of all time, there are a dearth of people who believe Wilt chamberlain is the GOAT. Most people believe that Michael Jordan is the goat because of his scoring prowess and how he dominated the 90s. One reason people say that Jordan is better than Wilt is because of his clutch play. Sam Smith wrote about “Jordan dropping 35 points on Clyde Drexler in the first half of Game 1 against the Trail Blazers in 1992 after critics said Drexler should have won that season's
Michael Jordan vs Lebron James Michael Jordan, in his prime, was thought of as one of the greatest basketball champions of all time. A shooting guard, standing at six-six, Jordan was able to out play anyone in his position. He started his career at the University of North Carolina, where he helped his team win a national championship. He then was drafted by the Chicago Bulls in the 1984-85 season. While playing for the Bulls, Jordan received many awards such as, MVP, five championships, Olympic gold medals, slam dunk contests, and many more defensive and offensive awards.
At every level of basketball there are players that have shined on and off the court, this is true for two exceptional players like Michael Jordan and LeBron James. The debate over these two marvelous athletes and who is the better of the two, has divided sports fans since LeBron earned his first Finals Championship.
First, we will celebrate LeBron James’s accomplishments in the NBA. There are over 400 players in the NBA. These players are on the battlefield, fighting day after day because they all know only one can become the Most Valuable Player. LeBron James rose above all, claiming the MVP award, not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 times. Not only is LeBron James an MVP, but he is also a 13-time All-Star player. LeBron James garnered enough votes from the fans, the players, and the media to become an All-Star like a presidential candidate getting enough votes from the voters to become the President.
Due to the mark Michael Jordan has left on the world as the “G.O.A.T.”, it will be very difficult for any player to surpass his legacy. Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant and LeBron James all have similarities of Michael Jordan but, out of all three players James is the closest. LeBron has the most similarities and the potential to surpass Michael Jordan’s legacy with his personality, stats and he popularity on and off the court. Even though James has the potential to surpass his legacy, there is still a very long journey ahead of James if he ever wants to be considered the “G.O.A.T.”.
Kobe Bryant vs Michael Jordan? This is a controversial question in the NBA league. Kobe Bryant is one of the greatest basketball players of all time who was approaching or even goes beyond Michael Jordan. Both player are well-known to the world and as well as their basketball skills. As a similarity, both players are playing shooting guard and with similar play-style. I grew up with Kobe Bryant as a personal hero and barely knew who Michael Jordan was, now that I have examined the two players objectively. I concede that Michael Jordan’s skills are superior.
