It's highly common for a child growing up in the town of Warrior to be involved in quarrels, know how to fire armed weapons, and to steal contraband and many of the population's other possessions. This was a chronic state of affairs in this community. However, there were a few kids in town that grew up with apprehension about participating in such criminal behavior. One of these heroic kids went by the name of LaQuisha James. Just like any other household in Warrior, LaQuisha's home life was mainly centered around violence. As a result of violence, LaQuisha had recently lost her older brother, Devonte, to an inevitable gang fight. Devonte had been vigorously stabbed in the chest approximately thirty times. LaQuisha knew her brother was a troublemaker and was involved with the wrong group of people, but never really asked about his business. Even if someone were tried for his murder, they would probably receive an acquittal. Through the slaughter of Devonte, the stolidly dangerous gang boosted their notoriety.
