...because they could usually be cut in half or broken down to different sentences. This was very helpful advice, especially when reviewing my persuasive essay, and I will remember it for any future essays I write to help limit my wordiness.
I have found this class to be one that will be the most applicable throughout the rest of college and especially as I search for a career. Even as a math major, the class provided me with better communication skills and writing tips that will help in nearly any class and in my daily job. The group project revealed to me that not everyone is as willing to work as hard as other group members so I have to be prepared for that going into future group projects, which occur in every lab class I’ll take. There is a constant need from personal growth in writing in order to better convey ideas and be more direct in daily conversations.
