Transformational leadership is based on self-interest, inspirational, and motivation that it is used to communicate with others. This type of leadership focus on a long term vision for the company, and it creates the values of the firm. Usually employees in the firm are influence by the company leader’s beliefs and values. On the other hand, transformational leaders use power to manipulate others and transformational leaders tend to focus on self-interest on the decision making process. Transactional leadership is more like a supervision performance where the leader ensure that employees are working correctly, and employees are meeting the expectations of the company. Transactional leaders control the employees rather than influencing moral values. This type of leadership is known because it offers contingent rewards; if the employee accomplish and exceed its tasks, the employee will be reward.

Transformational leaders uses power to manipulate people thoughts, beliefs, and values. This type of leaders enhance their values into the employees, so they can manipulate the employees easily. Also, transformational leaders can use their power to support decision that will benefit them. Transactional leadership is based on power and management, more than anything, it uses power to achieve goals of the company by punishing or rewarding employees. Transactional leaders have big control over the employees, and usually employees work under pressure to achieve the expectation of the leaders. If I were a follower, I would follow a transformational leadership, as long as the leader have moral values, integrity, honesty, etc., I will not have a problem following a transformational leader whose only goal is to motivate the employees to reach th...

Corruption is an unethical conduct of the abuse of resources from a person that has a position of authority, and it uses its authority to take personal advantage, or to bring benefits for a firm, an example is the government corruption. Embezzlement is a dishonest way of taking away assets, especially money from a business, or other place. Embezzlement can be compare to theft; an example is a financial fraud. Extortion is the use of power to intimidate to obtain financial benefit, sometimes extortion might involve force or treats. Bribery is refer to giving or offering financial benefit to alter a person’s behavior usually in a position of trust. Bribery is the giving or receiving value items in order to participate in an unethical activity.
