My belief in Transformation
The transformation of man has long since been a topic of much expanse. Today, the defining of transformation still lingers. Socialization forms the core to many transformations in a student’s life. Since John Lock posited the socialization of man in the Enlightenment period, transformation has become a direct effect often due to life altering experiences – the “liberation of the individual within a dominant, oppressive, technocratic society” (Module 4 Theory and Analysis). Paulo Freire says transformation is essential to relationship with others.

As a teenager I was an avid reader and excelled academically until I was in the ninth grade when I conceded to peer pressure and took a turn for the worse. I was just 14 years old but I was able to think long and hard on the path I was on and of which path I needed to be on. I vividly remember my mother telling me to “always stay on the crooked path and cut straight” (meaning to see your mistakes and gradually correct them) – and that I did. I became a new person devouring my lessons as if I was on my last breath. I was no longer ashamed of my academic performance as my GPA shot to 3.4 in my first midterms at my new school. Initial Reflective Essay When I first thought of what I wanted to do with my life after college, the first thing I thought of was helping people. The next step in deciding what I wanted to do with my life was to examine how I could accomplish this goal. I started pondering and I was thinking about how much I love to take care of my body. Health care and personal hygiene has always been an important factor in my life. So I decided to major in Health Sciences.
Second hand smoke is a different combination of air and the smoke that comes from the cigarette and the smoke breathed out by a smoker. This happens when a non-smoker is around someone smoking, therefore, breathing in secondhand smoke. According to the various research which were done by W H O, second hand smoke have been proofed to contain more than 7000 harmful chemical and 250 of these chemicals are known to be harmful to one’s health.
I took the reins in my hands, placed my left foot on the stirrup, swung my right leg over, mounted the horse and took position on the saddle. With a slight movement of the reins and a gentle nudge, I slowly guided my horse to the field. For the next 15 minutes, we exhibited the requisite movements for dressage (a competitive form of training to develop obedience, flexibility and balance in a horse) with flawless coordination, culminating in a National Gold.
My portfolio absolutely reflects my understanding of persuasive writing. Persuasive writing is the ability to use certain word choices in order to convince an audience to agree, or a least grasp, the topic that is being written about. My portfolio represents the goals and objectives of persuasive writing. The essays I have written for this course demonstrate that I have certainly developed my critical thinking skills, and also developed, or better yet, mastered my communication and personal responsibility skills; but, because terms of my lack of paraphrasing and analysis, my writing process is not perfected.
Throughout my live, my behavior towards change has evolved into a more mature acceptance of the inevitable. As an adolescent, I failed to contemplate the reasoning behind changes that occurred within my life. I neglected to seek the deeper meaning of why modifications were being implemented. However, as an adult, I consider the rationale and possible outcome of the change taking place. I have grown to realize that the success of each individual situation depends on the attitude it is approached it with (Blais & Hayes, 2011).
The idea of change is the most constant factor in business today and organisational change therefore plays a crucial role in this highly dynamic environment. It is defined as a company that is going through a transformation and is in a progressive step towards improving their existing capabilities. Organisational change is important as managers need to continue to commit and deliver today but must also think of changes that lie ahead tomorrow. This is a difficult task because management systems are design, and people are rewarded for stability. These two main factors will be discussed with reasons as to why organisational change is necessary for survival, but on the other hand why it is difficult to accomplish.
In relation to social transformation I have gathered materials that focusses on programs provided for ‘refugees’ living in New Zealand. The purpose of my findings are based on the societies support for ‘refugees’ in terms of human security and directions of life before settling in their new destination. There are stories about ‘refugees’ that need to be shared and stories that need to be forgotten, because it can produce controversy within the society or the universe. But where can these ‘refugees’ go if the place they call home is unsafe or too risky for the lives of their families and for themselves. It’s hard enough to migrate into a new country, but it is devastating for refugees who have experienced the loss of homes and loved ones.
This study aims to determine the impact of leadership styles on job satisfaction and job commitment. Leadership is an art of influencing thoughts and activities of followers for the achievement of established goals and standards. A good leader influences the followers in such a way that they put more effort for the accomplishment of organizational goals and objectives. The impact of transactional and transformational leadership styles on job satisfaction and job commitment of education sector of Pakistan is observed. The result of study has shown that both leadership styles have effect on job satisfaction and job commitment. Transactional and transformational leadership styles play a vital role in every organization with respect to job satisfaction and commitment. The study indicates that transactional and transformational leadership style intensifies job satisfaction and commitment. But in Pakistan context transformational leadership style has more influence on job satisfaction and job commitment. Employees would like to work with transformational leader as they know the leader is a source of motivation, inspiration and build confidence. Transformational leader inspires their follower because employees feel trust, loyalty, appreciation and respect. Employees put more energy and effort for the betterment of the organization. They work beyond the established standards by meeting all the organizational goals and objective. Transformational leader arouses the awareness in the employees and change the perspective of employees. Transformational leader build a sense of achievement and growth.
