United States is one of the leading countries were ties with other countries are high importance for free trade. United States is deeply involved with exporting and importing goods. One of the biggest trade policies United States is deeply involved in is the North American Free Trade Agreement. Canada, America, and Mexico has helped more businesses and jobs with being part of this trade policy. Obama Administration wanted to create another trade policy that will draw more countries to be involved with free trade. The new trade policy is Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). The concerns that came into question from researching TPP is the opposition from many political groups, that the U.S. laws can be question by foreign companies, and the policy not being thoroughly explained on how it will effect American’s goods. Donald Trump is opposed of Trans-Pacific Partnership and will probably end the trade pact after 12 years of the process. Ending the trade pact may be a careless decision due to the length of time spent and the amount of countries involved. Yet, if it were not for certain sections that threaten America’s society and the secrecy the deal may have been able to come through. A national trade policy affecting many different nations should have be open to everyone and deal more for the people in free trade and not for multinational companies. In the end, the trade policy will need to be revised before Congress should let it
