Shakespeare has created many plays that usually end with a tragedy or someone regretting something. Many characters of Macbeth has committed a crime that they know was wrong and soon regretted it later. The one thing that the characters have in common is how they all tried to find a way to get away with their regretful behavior. Most people in life do bad things because they won’t to and have no regrets, but it is different in Macbeth. Characters in Macbeth who have created heinous deeds were most likely driven by some type of mindset. Most characters were driven to do regretful things was because of ambition. Macbeth desire were shown when he wanted to become king. Justice was brought to him when he continued to kill people. Macduff illustrates justice when the audience discovers his goal which was to obtain peace and correcting order. Because of Lady Macbeth was filled with so much guilt her injustice led to death. Macbeth, a man filled with ambition used be seen as brave and kind hearted man in the beginning of the play during war. Many of his men stated and talked about his bravery and how much he had triumphed “For brave Macbeth –well he deserves that name --/ Disdaining fortune, with his brandish’d steel.” Because of this statement readers and the audience made an understanding that Macbeth was a good strong person. This was good because Macbeth was finally release from all the guilt that he has. Macbeth knows that killing Duncan was bad, but because he tried to hide this injustice this made him kill more people than he had to. It was Lady Macbeth who really piped things up by using her manipulative powers to get Macbeth to kill Duncan. She was soon sent to justice similar to that of Macbeth. Because of Lady Macbeth words Macbeth felt insoulted by the choose of words that she used Macbeth was driven to kill. The words made Macbeth feel like he needed prove himself for Lady Macbeth. Statements such as “Which thou esteem’st the ornament of life, and live a coward in thine own esteem.” Because she done gone messed up she know feel guilty because of it.
